The First Ten Focus Group Feedback for Roarasaurus: The Roaring Soaring Dinosaur!
Because Roarasaurus was Book of the Day, some of our most trusted members have carefully looked over the cover, the description, and other aspects of this book as a part of purchase-intent focus group. We then asked each participant in the focus group if they planned to buy and read the book, and why they planned to buy and read the book or not. Their answer to that question and reasons are displayed below. We call this awesome feature The First Ten Focus Group.
Keep in mind, the responses from the members are not reviews. This is purchase-intent focus group which means the participants are people who have NOT yet bought or read your book. A purchase-intent focus group is an important and extremely useful marketing tool for any product, not just books. For other products, you might walk on the street and show people an item in a package and poll them about whether they would buy if or $X or not. These kind of focus groups are one of the ways big marketing companies find the ideal price points for products and test the effectiveness of different packaging. The focus group can help you identify your market so you how to target ads of your book, and it can (but may not) provide you new useful info about your "packaging" (e.g. your book cover, your book synopsis on Amazon, etc.). The point of the focus group comments is to give you information from people who have not bought or read your book about why they plan to buy your book which will help you in marketing the book. These are not reviews or critiques of your book because they are not from people have read the book. This is a marketing tool, not reviews. The trick of book marketing and book advertising is that you have to convince people who have not read your book yet that your book is worth buying and reading. For marketing, it doesn't matter much if people love your book after reading it if you cannot convince potential buyers before they read it that they will love it.
IMPORTANT: Any score over 10% is considered very good. And any score above 0% is acceptable. This is because we only poll about 20 or so readers, and all readers have to say "no" to almost all books. Over a million books are published each year. Even a very active reader cannot come close to even reading 1% of books out there.
This is also why publishing books is such a tough industry.

The book's cover page and title suggest that this is a children's book. Because I'm not a fan of the genre, I wouldn't have read this book without sampling. What I liked was the illustrations provided in the book. It makes the message memorable. It also instills the virtue of love among children. Because I am not a fan of the genre, I will not complete reading this book. The OBC review didn't change my mind about this book. Since I didn't find any errors, I believe the book was edited professionally. I also didn't find anything that needs modification.

The title "Roarasauras" and the cover that shows a dinosaur indicate that the book is for children. There are only three Amazon customer ratings, which is not a sufficient number for me to decide to sample the book. The Amazon summary states that the book is about a toy dinosaur which has a mind of its own. As I am not interested in this theme, I would have skipped sampling the book if not for the First Ten program. As I sampled through the book, I found the narration describing Great-Aunt Rita getting into the toy shop to get a present for her great-nephew. As I am not interested in the overall theme of the book, I am not going to read this book in full. I found the sample professionally edited. There were no grammatical or mechanical errors in the sample. I didn't like anything specifically about the book. I don't have recommendations for the improvement of the book. Although I found one OBC review of the book, my decision to not to read the book in full is based on my own sampling.

As a part of this program, I sampled this book based on the genre because it's quite obvious that it belongs to the children's tale. I like to read children's books, especially with my daughter. The sample is quite short, but I enjoyed the small portion of the story. Though it includes a bit of Great Aunt Rita's excitement over buying her nephew a birthday gift, I'm satisfied with the colorful illustrations of Aunt Rita. I like this tale, so I will buy this book. I read the OBC review, which was very helpful in filling the gap in my imagination. What I like the most is that the story is true. There's nothing I dislike or anything I can recommend for improvement. I don't see any errors.

Based on the genre, the official OBC review, and other published reviews, I would have read this book. I found no errors in the first ten pages. Great aunt Rita visits a toy shop and decides to get a model of T. rex for her great nephew. I loved the colorful illustrations that also promised a good story. I had no reason to suggest improvements. Based on my reading experience, I would love to read the whole book.

The book cover and title are really attractive. I like illustrated books. So I would've sampled this book without this program. What made me decide that I'll be completing this book is the OBC official review, genre, and beautiful illustrations in the first ten percent of the book. I like how vibrant the illustrations are. The excitement on Jake's face was clearly visible. Plus, the OBC official review made me curious about what Jake learned from his mother. The editorial review and customer reviews had no influence on me. I didn't see any OBC blurb, and this didn't influence me. I believe the first ten pages were professionally edited because I didn't see any errors.

I don't have children of my own at the moment. Therefore I may not have read this book based on the cover page, OBC review and title only. The book does not have a blurb but it did not affect my decision to not read this book. I would not have picked it for myself. I loved sampling the first ten pages. The pictures are rich in color and show the character's expressions quite vividly. However, the sample was too short and I didn't have time to make up my mind about reading this book. I did not find any errors and I believe it is professionally edited. I have no suggestions for improvement so far. I will not buy or read this book.

Children's books always make me feel uplifted when I read them, so I'd have sampled this book based on the cover, title, and genre. The sample, blurb and OBC review influenced me to buy and read it when I learned that it contains beautiful pictures, and it's based on a true story. Moreover, the editorial reviews and customer reviews convinced me to sample it because they recommend it to kids and libraries. The story starts with Great-Aunt Rita as she gave Jake his birthday present. He loved dinosaurs, and he was happy to receive a dinosaur toy. However, things didn't turn well because the dinosaur caused a ruckus. I like the strong family connection of the characters in the book, and I'm looking forward to reading the part where Jake's mother gave him a lesson about the annoying toy. The book seems professionally edited, and I don't have suggestions for improvements.

I wouldn't have picked this book up based on the genre, cover and title because I'm not looking forward to reading any children's books. As for the sample, I loved the illustrations. The sample is small so I can't comment on the story. I read the well-written OBC review which would surely convince people looking for a good children's book to give this book a try.
I didn't dislike anything about the book so far. But I'm not going to read the rest of the book because of my lack of interest in children's books. The book seems professionally edited, as I didn't encounter any grammatical errors. I've no suggestions for improvement to offer. I didn't read the Amazon blurb, other editorial reviews, or customer reviews to make my decision to not read the whole book.

Based on the short sample that ends with no progress in the story, I couldn't figure if I should buy this book for my younger siblings or not. But based on the reviews, genre, cover, title, blurb, and OBC's review, I figured it was worthwhile. I did not notice any errors so far as only one page of the written story was included in the sample. I know that I enjoyed the text, colors, and illustrations, as they convey the sense of excitement and intrigue. I can definitely see how they would grip a kid and get them to be engrossed in the story. I recommend more sample pages to be included up until the story makes sense and not just a lady going to buy a toy T.Rex for her great nephew. I will give the book a try and hopefully find it as good as I assume it to be.

Without this program, I wouldn't have read this. The official review from OnlineBookClub, the cover, the blurb, and the ratings on Amazon are fine, but the book's premise is not my cup of tea.
I like the topic of a toy dinosaur that can walk and talk. Still, from the OBC review and the few first pages I read, it seems the book is more for children who would believe in that make-believe story. The editing is excellent, and I have no suggestions for improvement. However, the sample can't pique my interest, so I won't buy the book. The OBC review was helpful in making my decision.

I read children's picture books to de-stress, so I would have sampled this book outside the program. I wish the sample were longer. I like the charming illustrations; they will surely delight children. But I believe the illustrator missed the little girl's teeth at location 4. I noted some errors too. The cover used "(and she really is GREAT!)" while the title page had "(and she really is GREAT)." At location 6, "Tyrannosaurus Rex" should have used "rex" and "T. Rex" should have been "T. rex" as well. That's the proper way to write scientific names. On the same page, the box had the label "T-REX." I think only one spelling should be used so as not to confuse children. I hope Great-Aunt Rita will address the errors. I also suggest making the text larger to make it easier to read. The official OBC reviewer was all praises for the book, but the review did not make me want to buy it. I do not have children to share it with, considering that it is quite pricey.

If I had not read the sample as part of the First Ten program, I would not have read the book. The Amazon reviews did not affect my decision. I just do not read children's books. After reading the sample, I have not changed my mind for the same reason. I do think the art style is really bright and fun and the writing is really easily understandable for younger audiences. I also like the little "and she really is GREAT!" in the author tagline because it made the book seem more enthusiastic. I would not change anything but I would recommend it only to children and parents who could read it to their children. It was professionally edited. The official review on OnlineBookClub did not affect my decision.

After successfully downloading a free sample of this book, Roarasaurus: The Roaring Soaring Dinosaur!, from Amazon, I had a chance to read the first ten pages. I also enjoyed reading the official OBC review of this book, which was posted there. The review provided a thorough summary of the book. This book's first few pages include an image of a little girl. I assume Jake is getting ready for her birthday celebration. The same section of the book also mentions Rita, her great-aunt. I seldom ever read novels for kids. Therefore, I'll pass on this. I won't buy it and read it through. I must do this book justice by recommending it to all readers who appreciate this genre of books. This book appears to have been edited by a qualified individual. This is due to the fact that the first ten pages I read were free of any grammatical or spelling problems. The author's writing style was the feature of the first few pages that I liked the most. For instance, I like the author's use of images throughout the narrative. There was nothing about the first ten pages of this book that I disliked. Because of the genre, I chose not to buy and complete reading this book. My decision was unaffected by the book's cover, the official review, editorial reviews, or customer reviews. This book appears to have been well-written and edited, in my opinion, so there is no need to make any additional improvements.

I read the first ten pages of this book, Roarasaurus: The Roaring Soaring Dinosaur! This is after I downloaded a sample and realized that it was a children’s book. In the opening pages of this book, the author starts by mentioning that this is an absolutely true story. It’s Jake’s birthday, and Great-Aunt Rita is at the store trying to figure out the best gift to give her. The element that I appreciated the most in the first ten pages that I read was the book’s cover. It had a wonderful cover. There was no element that I didn’t appreciate in the first ten pages that I sampled. I don’t read books that fall into this category (children’s books). This explains why I won’t purchase and finish reading this book. I would recommend it to kids and those readers who appreciate this kind of book. This book seems to have been exceptionally edited. This is because I didn’t find any errors in the first ten pages that I read. My decision not to purchase and finish reading this book was because of its genre. The cover and the official review had no impact on my decision not to purchase and finish reading it. This book seems fine the way it is and shouldn’t be improved any further. The official review on OBC gave an overview of what this book entails.

This book has a cute title and cover. Based on the description and the official OnlineBookClub review, this appears to be a fun and true story. I would probably pick this book to read if I had kids the appropriate age. I read the sample pages and saw no editing errors, so this book seems professionally edited. I really enjoyed the bright and colorful pictures. The boy’s aunt walking through a toy store trying to find the perfect gift was a good way to pull a young reader into the story. I have no suggestions for improvement. Most children would probably enjoy this cute and colorful book. I like everything about it, but I do not have children the appropriate age for this book so I will not buy or finish reading it.

I don't sample children's books, so I would've skipped this book had it not been for the program. The story begins with Aunt Rita shopping for a gift for Jake's birthday. I like the colorful illustrations inside the book. The language is very simple and easy to understand. I don't have any issues with this book. I also don't think anything can be improved. There are no errors in the text, so I think the book has excellent editing. I'm not going to buy the book because I don't have any children around me to read it to. The OBC review was enlightening. It helped with my decision.

The title "Roarasaurus" is excellent: a clever mix of the words "roar" and "dinosaur"; therefore, I would have been interested in a book outside the program. I will buy this book because I found the illustrations adorable. Errors: none. I liked that the author speedily introduced the toy that gives this story its title. I did not find negative aspects. OBC's official review helped me make up my mind.

Before reading the book's first pages, I wasn't interested in it because nothing on the cover or the title got my attention. After sampling the book, I don't want to continue reading it because I don't have a place in my life for a children's book. I like that Jake likes dinosaurs because my nephew loves them too. This book seems professionally edited, I didn't see any typos; plus, it has an official OnlineBookClub review, but that didn't affect my opinion about not reading the book. I didn't see anything that needed improvement.

I rarely get the chance to read a children's book, so I'm going to take this offer and get the book. I would have read this book even if I was not in this program because children's books remind me of the fun times I had as a child. The OBC official review sold me on getting this book because I think what Great-Aunt Rita did for her great-nephew is beautiful and thoughtful. It reminds me of my aunt with who I have the same type of relationship. I was wondering why aunt Rita bought her nephew a dinosaur, but in the sample, I learned that it was because she knew he was a huge fan of them. I found no errors or anything I disliked about this book. I'm going to buy the whole book and finish reading this fun and loving story.

I was not initially intrigued by the genre of “Roarasaurus” because it is a children’s book. I do not have children, so I do not need a book in this genre. The title and cover are clever, and the illustrations are cute. The blurb and OBC review discusses an out-of-control toy dinosaur which is a unique concept.
I found no errors in the short sample provided. The illustrations were clear and were my favorite part of the book. I don’t enjoy the children’s genre. I have no recommendations for the author. I will not purchase this book to continue reading due to the genre.

I would choose to read this book outside this program based on the cover, blurb, title, genre, and customer reviews. The official OnlineBookClub review was well-written and further convinced me to read. This is a book that children will enjoy. A grand-aunt is searching for a gift for her grand-nephew and decided to purchase a dinosaur. I liked how colorful and vibrant the illustrations were. I found no errors in the sample and it needs no improvements. I will be reading it because it seems like a fun and interesting read.

I would have sampled this book based on the genre, OBC review, cover, title, editorial reviews, and customer reviews. I like to find new children’s books for my kids. After sampling the book, I won’t be finishing this book. I liked the pictures. However, I didn’t like that the first letter of each paragraph was a different color. I personally thought this formatting could use some improvement. I also didn’t like the amount of text in relation to the pictures. The book did seem to be professionally edited.

If Roarasaurus hadn't been the OnlineBookClub's book of the day, I would not have read the sample of it. I don't have kids, so I did not see a reason to continue with it after reading the description and seeing the cover art. There are two customer reviews for this book at the time of this writing, but these reviews did not affect my decision. I like the illustrations and how the author presents herself in this book; it is cute yet simple. There are no grammatical errors in the sample, and I can think of nothing that I disliked or thought needed improvement. An official OnlineBookClub review exists for this title, but I did not need to read it to make the decision to skip this book. I chose to skip it because I do not have kids.

Roarasaurus by Great-aunt Rita is a book which adults will enjoy reading to small children, and children who are learning to read will enjoy trying to read along too. I bought this book for my dinosaur-loving grandson's Christmas stocking. He will literally roar with delight and laughter when we read Roarasaurus together. What child does not like reading a book where there is a naughty character. I think Great-aunt Rita has included all the ingredients to delight a young child. The proofreading was perfect I found no errors in the pages I read. The bright and vibrant cover and drawings throughout the book go well with the wonderful storytelling. I enjoyed the official OBC review which was as lively as the story in the book.

The children's book is inspired by the love shared between an aunt and her nephew. Great-Aunt Rita brings a special dinosaur toy as a gift for her nephew, Jake, and we witness the nuisance the dinosaur toy causes in the house. The book is an entertaining read. That much I can say with confidence based on the sampling so far. I would have read the book based on its genre due to my love for illustrated children's books. And I loved the part I sampled. The thing I liked the most was that the illustrations were enough to understand the book. Even if the pictures weren't accompanied by text, I think young kids would be able to get the story with just a little help from their parents. However, the text is also comprehensible, and the editing is excellent. I would rate the book as professionally edited. There were no errors. The text is segmented into short parts, and the illustrations are colorful. The only thing I would suggest for improvement is to increase the font size of the text and make it more colorful so that it looks more inviting to kids. I saw a useful official OBC review, and that also helped understand the positives of the book. I have decided to read the whole book because of my enjoyment of the sample.

The cover, title, and genre of this book fascinated me. Outside the program called the first ten, I would have read the reviews of this book. I could not find any editorial reviews of this book, and the customer reviews appeared overly sugarcoated. The OBC official review encouraged me to sample this book. After reading the sample, I realized that the book was not professionally edited because I found some grammatical errors in the free sample. For example, the sentence, "What you are going to read is true - every single word." This sentence could be as follows. "What you are going to read is true by every single word." In this sample, I liked Aunt Rita's idea of gifting Jake something special for his birthday. From the sample, I learned that a big dinosaur toy caught Aunt Rita's attention. To my dismay, I had to zoom in and out for every page due to inflexible font size, so I will not buy and read this book today. My suggestion to the author is to go for a bigger font size. A round of professional editing can improve this book a bit.

I would have picked this book up if I were looking for a present for a child because dinosaurs are very popular right now. I thought the title was very clever. The blurb was good, and the OBC review was positive. The free sample pages were very short, but I liked the cartoon-style illustrations. I did not see any errors. I suggest the author remove the statement in the beginning that this is a true story because it might be confusing to children. I am not going to buy the book because it seems very expensive for a children's book.

The cover looked cute, and the OBC review also made me want to read it. After reading the sample, I do plan to finish it. I enjoyed the pictures and the simplicity of the story. It seems great for young readers. I did not find any errors. The only thing I didn’t like was I wish there was a little more to the sample.

The title, cover, blurb, and reviews are all fine; but I would have sampled the book outside of this program because I’m always on the lookout for great children’s books, and the ones about dinosaurs usually are. I didn’t like the length of the sample; it was, I felt, way too short. If my decision to purchase the book or not was solely dependent on that, I would not buy it. I would recommend that it be extended to include at least the first scene with the birthday boy. I liked the cartoonish illustrations, and I think children would appreciate them. I didn’t notice any errors. The OBC review gave the impression that the book is a wholesome, enjoyable read about love and family, with a lesson to be learned. This was helpful. Ultimately though, I’m not buying the book because of the price. This by no means is me saying the author should lower it! I shall probably come back to it if it ever goes on sale or something.

Upon perusing the title’s official OnlineBookClub review and Amazon page, I decided not to acquire the children’s book. This is a children’s book, which is meant to be read by children: I am a twenty-year-old adult, so I am not interested in reading the title. Further, when I learned about the story’s premise, I was not intrigued by it. Sampling the title did not change my mind. I would not acquire it because nothing in the sample had me wanting to go over the rest of the title. My favorite part is the illustrations inside the book. I was not able to note any errors in the Amazon sample; the book seems professionally edited. I have nothing to suggest to the author.

Roarasaurus by Great-Aunt Rita is an illustrated children's book with an animated story and a moral lesson for children. I liked the first few pages; it was starting out to be a great story for kids—easy to understand and with lots of colorful illustrations. I did not find any errors in the first ten pages. Although I wouldn't have read this book if not for this program, the OBC review and the original title of the book made me give this book a read. Although I loved reading this sample, I would not buy the full book to read because I'm not its target audience. It will be loved by children. The author doesn't need my suggestions; they are already doing a great job of telling moralistic stories to kids.

I looked over a sample of the book Roarasaurus: The Roaring Soaring Dinosaur. By all accounts, this is an excellent book, by all accounts. Furthermore, I found its official review to be well-written and informative regarding the book, and I really enjoyed reading it. Jake's birthday was mentioned at the beginning of the book. He deserved a really unique gift, so Great-Aunt Rita wanted to purchase him one. For her gift, Rita picked out a large dinosaur. I decided whether or not to buy and read the entire book after reading the excellent review of it on OBC. Excellent editing appears to have been done on it, as the sample (the first ten pages I read) shows. I made that statement because I saw no flaws in the first ten pages I read. The cover was also fantastic. The intended readers will be drawn to it with ease. I don't believe this book could be made in any way better. I don't read books for young readers. This is the reason I won't buy the book and read it cover to cover. The presence of pictures in the book was the aspect of the first ten pages that I read that I loved the most. In the first ten pages I read, the length of the book's title was the only aspect I didn't like. I believe the title could be kept brief and simple given that it is a children's book. After reading the sample, I believe I will recommend this book to kids who enjoy reading.

I love the hilarity and silliness this book seems to offer. I didn't think I would be reading it until after I read the OBC review of the book, and that slight bit had me chuckling once or twice. I think I'll read it because it's such a short book that can be completed in a matter of minutes, and which I might even purchase for my younger siblings. So far, I have not found any error in the writing. I don't see any area that necessarily requires improvement, though I would say, what with the intended silly nature of the book, the font and illustrations could have been done to match.

Without mincing words, I find the title of this book amusing. I am certain the title and customers reviews would have made me sample the book even if I didn't belong to the OBC.
Reading the first ten pages proved a worthwhile experience because I love everything about the book. I love the fact that it was written based on a true story. The images permeating the pages make it easier to read the book. Great-aunt Rita's descriptive skills stood out for me. Furthermore, the book was well-edited because I haven't spotted any errors. This is a book I will finish reading. Reading the book's review on the OBC platform sparked my interest in the book because it gave me insight into what to expect.

Without this program, I would not have sampled this book. I do have a toddler, but he isn’t interested in dinosaurs just yet. Due to that, the title, cover, and blurb would not have piqued my interest. The customer and OBC ratings and reviews do not affect my opinion of the book. Based on the short sample, this children’s book seems to be professionally edited.
I really enjoyed the colorful pictures as Great-Aunt Rita sees the T-Rex in the toy store ready to but one for her great-nephew, Jake. The only thing I can think that may need improvement is the cover of the book. It’s colorful, but not enough to be eye-appealing.
Due to having an interested audience to read this book, I do not plan on buying and reading this book.

I would not have read or sampled this book if it was not part of the First Ten program since it is a children's book. The OBC and customer reviews all praised the impressive illustrations, which I think are an integral part of any children's book. It had no blurb but the cover and title gave a clear idea of what it was about. In the sample, great aunt Rita is at the store looking for a birthday present for Jake when she decides to buy the T.Rex. The sample has little text and large illustrations, as mentioned in the reviews. I found no errors and nothing to dislike with the sample. Unfortunately, I do not think it will satisfy my reading needs, since I am clearly not the target audience. As a result, I will not be reading the rest of this book.

I read children’s books often—they are an enjoyable break from the nonfiction I read. But based on the title, cover, and blurb, I would not have sampled this book if I were not part of this program. It seemed like a fun retelling of a story that the author and her great-nieces and great-nephews shared, but it did not capture my interest. The sample pages set up the story well, and the book appeared professionally edited; I didn’t notice any grammatical errors. I appreciated that the book was available in ebook format. It is very helpful for children’s books to be available online because grownups may not be able to share reading experiences with the children in their lives in person. The children looked older than I expected in the illustration at loc 4, but since this was based on a true story, maybe that’s what they looked like. I will not buy this book because the sample pages did not change my initial thoughts about connecting with the story. Neither the featured OnlineBookClub review nor other editorial reviews or customer reviews influenced my decision. I have no suggestions for improvement.

I would not have picked this up without the First Ten program because it is a children's book. The title and cover are average. I thought the Amazon blurb was a little too long. This book seems well edited. I thought the illustrations were nice and I liked that the emotions were very well displayed on the faces of the characters. I think a lot of kids will be able to relate to Jake's love and knowledge of dinosaurs. The official OBC review, customer reviews, and comments were all positive. I can see how this book could be a fun read for children. Since I am not a part of the right age group to enjoy this book, I will not be reading the rest. I do not have any suggestions for the author.

Roarasaurus: The Roaring Soaring Dinosaur! by Great-aunt Rita(and she really is GREAT!) with lots of help from Jake, Elina Farber belongs to the Children's Books genre, which I usually do not read. The title and the cover page were self-explanatory. The blurb revealed that this was a true story about a toy T-rex that was gifted to little Jake ultimately being ended up a nuisance. I did not see any editorial reviews, but the customer reviews spoke highly about the book. Based on the above facts, I would not have sampled this book if I had not been a part of this program.
Then I read the first few pages, in which it was described how Jake's present was chosen from the store. I loved the inclusion of beautiful drawings. But the story was quite ordinary and I was not really interested in reading further after reading the first few pages. So I decided not to carry on with reading the rest of the book.
There were no errors in the first ten pages and I did not see any area that could be improved. I saw the official OBC review, which spoke highly about the book. But it was not enough to change my mind.

I don't read children's books so I would not read this book based on the cover, title, genre, customer reviews, blurb, or the official OnlineBookClub review. I liked that it contained colorful illustrations. Aunt Rita is at the store trying to find a toy her grand-nephew would love.
I found no errors in the sample and it needs no modifications. However, I wish the sample could be a bit longer so I could judge it better. Only one paragraph was available. I won't be reading this book because I don't read children's books.

My daughter likes dinosaurs, so when I saw the cover, I wanted to read it to find out more. The summary and review on Amazon were interesting, and the description made a reader want to read it. The OBC review was also well-written and made me want to read it. The pictures were brightly colored and beautiful, and any child would enjoy them. I found the title cute and appealing, and I think a child who enjoys dinosaurs would love to read it. I would buy it after reading the first 10 pages because of the amazing reviews left on Amazon. I found the sample left on Amazon was too short for a reader to decide if they wanted to buy it. I found no errors in the first 10 pages. There is nothing I would change or dislike about the book.

I'm not in the market for any kiddie books, so this book isn't for me. I didn't like the cover at all. The lack of any vibrancy or images in the flat background turned me off, which is a shame because the images inside the book are quite nice. The Official OBC Review was good, but since this isn't a genre of interest, it wasn't enough to convince me to read beyond the snippet on Amazon. I read no other reviews or blurbs, and I will not be reading this. What I liked most were the drawings inside. They were quite colorful and pleasing to the eye, making the cover that much more disappointing. Other than the genre, there was nothing I disliked. I found no errors or typos, so I expect the book was professionally edited. My only recommendation for improvement would be to jazz up the cover so that it is more appealing to the eyes.

The title and the cover are eye-catching and totally in keeping with the story and the children's genre. I think this book should appeal to the target audience, namely children. Usually, I like children's books but don't have little children or relatives to read them. The blurb highlights that the story centers on the dinosaur toy that, instead of walking and talking, takes off with an unstoppable roar and flight, leaving the children terrified. Both customer reviews give this book a perfect rating. OnlineBookClub's official review comments that this is a true story. Based on these aspects, I am uninclined to try this book. The sample is so short that it only shows Great Aunt Rita going to the store to buy Jake a special gift for his birthday. However, it already outlined that the T-Rex toy will be the protagonist in this story. The brief narrative allows you to intuit that Jake is a smart boy since he knows all the names of the types of dinosaurs. The illustrations are artistic and eye-catching, which is sure to capture the interest of children. The editing looked outstanding, as I didn't see any details to comment on. Overall, I didn't see anything that I believed could be improved. The sample glimpsed a fascinating story about Jake and the toy dinosaur, but it was too short. In addition, I do not have little children or relatives. Therefore, I won't be reading the rest of the book shortly.

I'm inspired to read the book because of its wonderful title and cover. I read the blurb, customer reviews, editor reviews, and the Official OnlineBookClub review, but none of them had a significant influence on my decision. The only distinction is that I'm curious to learn what lesson mom taught Jake because the OnlineBookClub review piqued my interest. I'll choose to read the book for the same reason. The lack of typos or errors leads me to believe that the book was thoroughly edited. The way Great-Aunt Rita is introduced and her excitement over the toy she spotted in the shop are wonderful. I also enjoy the illustrations in the book. Nothing in the book, in my opinion, needs to be improved.

This book was jam-packed with illustrations. I liked how simple the sentences were in what I read. This demonstrates that the authors are aware of their intended audience. There was nothing I didn't like, and there were no mistakes. I'm not going to read the rest of the book because it's a children's book and won't have the level of mystery I prefer. Even if I hadn't been in this program, the description and the official OBC review I read wouldn't have piqued my interest. Regardless, it's a fantastic book for children.

I would not have sampled this book because I do not have young children. I liked the thoughtfulness of Aunt Rita when she decided to buy the Tyrannosaurus Rex toy for her nephew. The pictures were colorful and added appeal to the book. Professionally edited, I have no suggestions for improvement. The OBC review did not influence me to read the book. I did not read anything online to change my decision. I am passing on the BOTD since I don't have children in my house.

The cover and the title are eye-catching because of the lively colors and the funny name. I'm not a fan of children's books, so I wasn't going to sample this book on my own. The blurb, OBC review, and Amazon reviews helped me understand the book better, but I still mainly sampled it thanks to this program. The illustrations are very lively and have many details in them. The writing style is also warm and friendly, keeping the kids (and adults) entertained. I don't think it helps to tell children that this story is true and that it really happened because it creates false expectations, but that's just my opinion. If I could, I would remove that phrase and leave the children to decide for themselves. This book isn't for me, so I don't plan on reading it. The editing was flawless.

"Roarasaurus" by Great-aunt Rita (and she really is GREAT!), with lots of help from Jake and Elina Farber, is a children's book that presents the adventure of a T-Rex toy. I liked the colorful book cover and found it suggestive of its catchy title and descriptive blurb. I sampled this book because of its positive editorial and customer reviews and excellent Official OnlineBookClub review. The book seems exceptionally well edited since I discovered no single error while reading the sample. I would not improve anything on the book because I liked its great storytelling and appreciated the authenticity of the story. Also, I loved the colorful illustrations of the children and the toy shop. Nevertheless, I will not buy and read the whole book because I am not interested in stories about dinosaurs, especially in short stories for children.

I don't read children's books. This one has an interesting blurb and a helpful official Onlinebookclub review of the book. I like how the author states that this is a true story. In the sample, we get the story set up and learn how Rita bought her great-nephew a dinosaur toy for his birthday. There are some colorful illustrations. After reading the sample, I didn't change my mind. There are a couple of favorable reviews on Amazon. I didn't notice any errors, and I wouldn't change anything about the book.

"Roarasaurus" is a children's book. It is written by Great-Aunt Rita with lots of help from Jake and Elina Farber. The illustrations are done by Mike Sofka. Great-Aunt Rita decides to buy a T-Rex toy for her great-nephew, Jake's, birthday. I like the illustrations. Also, I like the fact that the book is based on a real-life incident. I would not change anything about the book. The editing is perfect. The OBC review is insightful. However, I would have skipped this book based on the cover, title, genre, blurb, editorial reviews, and customer reviews as I am not in the mood to read books of this genre as of now. For the same reason, I will skip the book for now.

I knew I wouldn’t be interested in this book from the title, cover, description, genre, customer reviews, and the official OnlineBookClub review. I don’t read children’s books, so I will not buy and read this book. However, I loved that the author turned this real-life experience with Jake and Roarasaurus into this book. I especially loved the illustrations; they’re very eye-catching. This book seems professionally edited because I didn’t notice any errors from the few pages I read. I don’t think anything needs to be improved.

The book is too expensive for a Kindle book, especially for a children's book, so I won't be buying or reading it even though I'm a part of this program. I'd rather not pay the exorbitant shipping fees for a physical book when I can take my son to a bookstore to buy the physical books and something else that is cheaper.
I decided against reading the book after reading the one page of the sample that contained many illustrations. Mostly because of the price, and I don't like buying Kindle books for my son.
There are no typos or other errors in the book, as far as I could tell.
The story is intriguing, and the fact that it centers on toys is a nice bonus. Because the sample only allowed for one written page, I could only read one, and the others are illustrations. The novel centers on a present the author gives to her nephew on his birthday. She surprised him with a movable T. Rex she bought for him.
The price was too high, and I'd rather have my son read books where he can turn the pages and get a sense of their texture.
Reading the OBC review, I was hopeful that my son would enjoy the story of this book, but sadly, it is not on the Kindle app, so I will not be buying or reading it.

The book cover image represents the title perfectly. If I would be looking for a kids book, I would pick this book up if I would see it in a bookstore. The customer reviews, blurb and OBC review give a good description of the book, and made me laugh as I personally have some similar experiences with battery-powered toys. The sample is well edited, and the only text page that the sample contains, is written in an entertaining way. The illustrations are clear and relevant to the story. I am sure that great-aunt Rita, just like many other adults, thought that buying a battery-powered dinosaur would be a great idea. I personally will not buy this book as I am not part of the target audience, but I will recommend it to parents I know. I have no suggestions for improvement.

The cover is pretty cute. I especially love that the author signs her work as Great-Aunt Rita. And I know children will find the blurb fascinating since they love mischief. The book also has high ratings, but I don't have kids, so I wouldn't have bought the book based on my first impressions.
The sample does not consist of ten pages, probably due to the book's total length. What I liked the most was that Great-Aunt Rita is depicted as a youngish woman, unlike what I pictured in my head. I'm a great-aunt too, and I'm not even 40, so I could relate. There was nothing I disliked. I didn't find editing mistakes. Therefore, I don't have any suggestions. The official OBC review, though enthusiastic, didn't change my mind because I don't have an audience for this book.

Outside the program, I would not have picked this book out because I do not have any children, so I have no reason to read a children's books. I loved the illustrations that accompanied the story and the easy writing style. Both of these will allow children to understand the story and feel more connected to it. I did not find any errors in what I read, and I had no improvements to mention. Even though I liked what I read, I would not buy and continue the book since I would not read it on my own and have no children to give it to.

If I were looking for a children’s book, I would have looked at this one because of its beautifully illustrated cover and title that clearly shows its genre. The blurb, customer reviews, editorial reviews, and the OnlineBookClub review did not influence my decision. I like the thoughtfulness of Aunt Rita buying a dinosaur for her great-nephew. I saw no errors in the book sample, and the illustrations were bright and crisp. I have no recommendations for the author because I disliked nothing about this professionally edited book. I will not buy and read this book because I am not in the market for a children’s book. However, I am sure many children will enjoy this book about a dinosaur.

Unfortunately, I do not know anyone of the appropriate age for this book, otherwise I would definitely have bought it. My child is way above age. If I had not been part of this program I would not have taken a second look at it. I love the cover and the name, it is sure to attract the attention of children which I am sure the author and all her helpers were aiming for. There is nothing to dislike about the book. Everything was well likeable. The illustrations were beautiful with bright colours that would keep a child's attention focused on the story. The writing was easy and simple, which is also again suitable for the age it was written for. I found no spelling or grammar mistakes, and have no suggestions for the author. I sure hope after all the lessons and stuff to learn the boy enjoyed his walking, talking T-Rex. No other review, OBC or otherwise, or blurbs influenced my decision. This was solely based on the first ten pages of this book.

The sample given was very short, so I didn’t really get to see what it was all about. I will not be finishing it, though, mostly because it's a children's book. The illustrations were wonderful. I especially enjoyed the one at the counter in the shop. I appreciated the OBC reviewer's acknowledgement that children are hard to gift to. The only editorial review that I could find was from OBC, and it was very good, as were the customer reviews posted. I really like the cover; it must have been done by the book's illustrator. The title would appeal to children. I only read a very small sample, but it seemed to be professionally edited, and there's nothing that I would change.

I like children's stories, so I will check out this book outside the program. The title is catchy and relates with the cover. It is easy to tell what the book is about. The blurb says it is based on a true story, which made me curious. Customer reviews are encouraging. What I liked after sampling is the neat layout of the book. The illustrations and text do not overlap. The text on each page are short enough to keep the attention of young readers. I have no suggestions for improvement. Likewise, I did not encounter any editing issues from the sampled pages. The official OnlineBookClub review is enthusiastic.

I would not have picked this book up based on the cover alone because the cover art and title convey to me that this is a children’s book. I don’t have young children, so I would not be in the target audience for this book. The onlinebookclub.org review that I read was very positive and gave the book a perfect rating. However, it also confirmed that this is a children’s book. So, the review did not increase my interest in reading the book. I didn’t read any additional customer reviews or blurbs. The first ten pages introduce the character of Rita. She is shopping for a birthday gift for her great-nephew, Jake. She decided to buy him a toy Tyrannosaurus Rex. There are several illustrations in the book that show her shopping for this toy. I didn’t see any errors in the first ten pages, so I believe the book was professionally edited. I also didn’t see any area that the author could improve upon. This book would appeal to young readers. However, since it is a children’s book, I will not finish reading it.

Total ~ 25%
Roarasaurus earned a score of 25%.
In other words, out of the top-level reviewers who read at least the first 10 pages of this book, 25% plan to read the whole book.
IMPORTANT: Any score over 10% is considered very good. And any score above 0% is acceptable.
Over a million books are published each year. Any given person could not even read .0001% of the books out there. This means readers have to be very selective. Even taking the time to look over reviews and blurbs, let alone read samples, is more time than most readers can afford for most books. The First Ten is a powerful focus group that addresses those issues. It creates a helpful tool for authors, publishers, and other readers.
