I also think you should go for the Harry Potters if you haven't already. I also got addicted to the Inkheart series by Cornelia Funke.
Swan Song by Robert McCammon might interest you, as might I book I just finished and LOVED called The Monsters of Templeton, by Lauren Groff.

Well if you like quick paced books with action....may I suggest some Sue Grafton books like T is for Trespass and R is for Ricochet. Another poster mentioned the Left Behind Series. The first three to fout books in that series were fantastic.
Hope this helps

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Conscience of a Dead Killer: Although the title suggests morbid death and carnage, there really is none. It hosts no adult situations or even profanity. It even has a happy ending.

The story: A killer's ghost is forced to go back in time and witness the lives of his victims with a conscience, until he meets an FBI agent who can see him where no one else can.

It can be found on Amazon or ordered through about a million other places.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did

Gary
