I’m reading Assassins Blade in the Throne of Glass Series. I’m reading it 4th because it’s supposed to pack the most emotional punch and set up the rest of the series. However, I find the book boring and I’m having a hard time reading it when I’m dying to know what happens after the third book!

I am currently by"Butter Honey Pig Bread" by Francesca Ekwuyasi, which is is a richly woven tale exploring the lives of three Nigerian women—Kambirinachi and her twin daughters, Kehinde and Taiye. Set against the backdrop of Lagos, Nigeria, and other locations around the world, the novel delves into themes of family, trauma, and reconciliation. Kambirinachi believes herself to be an ogbanje, a spirit that causes misfortune, which profoundly impacts her relationships with her daughters. The narrative intertwines their separate and shared journeys, examining how they confront their pasts and seek healing and connection. Ekwuyasi's debut is celebrated for its lyrical prose and deep emotional resonance, offering a poignant exploration of love and forgiveness.

Typewriter In The Sky

Can't really recommend because of, let's just say brief problematic content, but I do plan to finish for the intriguing concept.
