I am currently reading Columbus, Slave Trader by Marcus Wilson and it is an amazing read the fact that I loved the most about this book was the perspective of the Taíros.

I just finished We are Voulhire: A new arrival under great skies and I really enjoyed it. Specially the way the author crafted the plot and the characters, it feels real, and you can transport yourself to this new world. The villains, which in the author´s opinion are the most important characters are really compelling.

Right now, I´m reading the sample of the novel Drawn from life, by Sarah P. Blanchard. The first part is a bit slow, but I liked the way she portraits the two main characters, one strong-willed and the other shy and timid, not facing her cousin in what I read as a relation of abuse.

I just finished reading 'Entanglement-Quantum and Otherwise'. It's a great read for people interested in psychological and philosophical books, as it has a complex storyline with complicated characters. You can find a more detailed summary in my latest review. :)

The last book I read for OBC was “A Vanishing Kind” a memoir about controversial conservationist John Wamsley.

I’m currently reading a book of poetry, Mary Oliver’s “Dog Songs”

I also read and reviewed that book! It was super interesting. I passed it by because I thought it was going to lean science fiction but it was not at all like that, instead it was a psychological thriller about human nature.

Ah, haha. I understand why the title of the book might have confused you. I did, however, like the story and character development. I love stories that are psychologically stimulating. Even in the genre of horror, I find the slow psychological thrillers far scarier than jumpscares and scary-looking characters. Would you like to go through my review? It hasn't been posted yet...might get posted soon though!

Hello!
I am very excited to be part of this community. :D :D
I am currently reading:
  • Tom Sawyer: It is a classic book, I've enjoyed it a lot because it's so funny and interesting. Sometimes I feel identified with the adventures of Tom and his friends. I also liked that I can get more information about the 1800s
And what are you reading?

I love hearing about what other people are reading! :D

it is always fun to get some good ideas for a new book to binge on.
I am currently reading "The Venice Conspiracy" by Jon Trace, its about a 500 page book following our main character Tom Shaman as he gets involved with Italian police as they try to uncover the strange ritualistic killings taking place across Venice. It has a very intriguing 2 way pov following the past and the present.

Please do check out the book if your interested in reading edgy thriller crime novels!

Right now I am reading a book called "The Emotional Alchemy of Healing" by Rachel Marie Rabatin it is an amazing book that teaches you to deal with pain and elaborates on the importance of having confidence in yourself. In this book the author tells us techniques that she wished someone had told her when she had gone through the pain of losing someone important. I would definitely reccomedation this book to anyone going through pain.

Jumping on what seems to be an old trend. :D
I am currently reading "The Witch of Grič" by Marija Jurić Zagorka. The version I'm reading has six parts (online it says seven :shifty: ). I'm on part five! I can't wait to finish the whole series and see how loose ends tie up. I love this series and would recommend it to a historical fiction and romance lover. :romance-heart:
