Comedy and inspirational books are the best for me. I especially enjoyed the Unfakeable Code.

I read to learn and gain knowledge and escape from my daily routine. Getting lost in a book helps transport me to different worlds for entertainment. With books, I learn new skills, gain perspectives on different cultures and philosophies, gain insights into historical events, and get mentally stimulated. Unwinding in a quiet environment brings me a calming effect.

I learned that from my uncle.

I fell in love with reading when I discovered that it opens a door to other worlds. Fantasy and magical elements are my favorite themes to get lost in. To read books about real-life (non-fiction) is another doorway that gives me an opportunity to rethink what I've accepted as part of me, and shed what no longer enhances my breath on this earth.

Yes, I do indeed enjoy reading. I too, like to read to hear what people have to say. I think that is the main reason that I lean towards nonfiction books. It feels more real and surprisingly, in a way, I actually feel that my mind can be more creative? I believe it is because of the possibility of real life consequences or the thought of anticipation for real life events.
Be yourself and dream big; maybe it won’t be a dream one day :tiphat:

I was one who didn't like to read until eight years ago when my mom passed away. She loved to read and she also wrote some books. She was my best friend and shortly after she passed away, I talked to my sister and told her that I wanted to start reading because of mom. My sister was reading books by Irene Hannon at the time and so she told me about her and that once you start reading them, you can't put them down.

Ever since my sister told me of this author, I have been reading all the time and I am loving it! I love reading christian mysteries which is what Irene Hannon writes a lot of and I also like to read some mystery/suspense novels. If you haven't read any of her books, I highly recommend.

I love reading because it's like a little vacation while sitting at home! I don't have to travel far to learn about different times and places. I also love to put myself in someone else's shoes and feel what they are feeling!

I mainly love reading as a way to escape. I'm not much of a traveler in real life, so reading lets me travel to all kinds of places from the comfort of my home. I enjoy "going" on adventures and "meeting" different people. I can have so many "experiences" through reading. I especially love fantasies, with magic and mythical creatures.

I love reading because:
1. It helps me escape from the troubles and pressures of this world and take me to a different world where the abnormal is normal, the impossible is possible.
2. It keeps my imagination active unlike idleness or manual tasks.
3. It gives me more insight on the author himself.
