I do this all of the time. Though admittedly, I'll usually look up a blurb as well just to make sure it is something that I want to read.

I would probably look at it and then decide if it was something I might enjoy. Not everyone has the same taste.

It depends. I would read a book anyone recommended if it sounded like something I would enjoy.

I would go and read the summary and genre of the novel for sure, if it is something that resonates with me I’d definitely read it.

If I have the same taste as them and they are good at explaining why the book is good, I will give it a try

I’d definitely consider reading a book if someone recommended it, even if they’re a random person. Sometimes the most unexpected recommendations lead to discovering hidden gems. Isn't that the whole point of this book club? :)

I am always up for reading books if someone recommends be a book and even if it is someone random if I find the cover and the title of the book even a little intriguing I will try it when I have some free time who knows I might find my treasure there.

All depends on how convincing they are on why I should or if we’ve had other books overlap that we liked
