Audiobook Recommendations

Any audiobook recommendations, or narrator recommendations?

With how busy I am, I get a lot of my reading in through listening to audiobooks. I use the Libby app connected to my library to borrow audiobooks. I'm always looking for recommendations!

One of my favorite narrators is Brittany Pressley. I think she does a great job of using different voices and puts a lot of emotion into her reading. She narrates a lot of thrillers. I recently listened to Hemlock by Kiersten Modglin narrated by Brittany Pressley, and highly recommend it! She's also narrated a few books by Simone St. James, was one of the narrators for Home is Where the Bodies Are, What Have We Done, Local Woman Missing, The Night Shift, and Sign Here, and narrated The Overnight Guest.

Other audiobooks I recommend are: the Belladonna trilogy by Adalyn Grace, The Dare by Natasha Preston, the Good Girls Guide to Murder series by Holly Jackson, and The Only One Left by Riley Sager.

I understand your love for audiobooks! Though I typically prefer written works, audiobooks are so convenient when you have a busy schedule. I also use Libby and recently listened to The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller and The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon. Both are well written and had excellent narrators.

If you're looking for a little more variety, I'd recommend looking for something narrated by Kirby Heyborne. He has a nice voice, differentiates the characters without being over-the-top, and has a huge selection of books. He covers some of the more famous works, like Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn, and a lot of lesser-known books that are definitely worth checking out.

The Martian by Andy Weir was a fantastic book to listen to as an audiobook. I think it was more enjoyable as an audiobook than I would have found it to be reading it by myself.
