I think it was almost a whole day. Like I began at 9 am and read until I had to go to dance practice at 6 pm. So that would be 9 hours, I guess. :D After I got home from practice I finished the book

The longest time I've stayed up reading a good book is 12 hours just after dinner.

I have sometimes started reading in bed and realised that I am still reading at 5am in the morning.

After 2 hours I have to get up and move around. Maybe drink something before sitting back down to start reading again. I get stiff if I sit too long without moving around.

I remember the first time this happened to me. I was still in school and started reading The Hunger Games. I was so interested in this book that I read it completely in one night. The next day I went to the library and took the other two parts. And for the next 2 days I read them all. By the way, this is where my love for anti-utopia and post-apocalyptic began. I still really like these genres, although it's hard to find new interesting books every time.

I think the longest I've read for it around 12 hours with small breaks to eat and move around. During the summers growing up, my mom would take us to the library and I'd get a stack of books and finish them all in a week. I could honestly spend my whole day reading.

I read all of A Little Life in one sitting over a day because I thought it would be too depressing to spread out over multiple days.
