I am not sure of but in my country the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library is a really famous one. Its even shaped in the shape of an open book!

The Library of Alexandria was pretty famous in ancient times. I believe it was located in Egypt. Though it no longer exists, it is legendary for its vast collection of knowledge and its role in advancing learning and scholarship.
