No Problem. But, These days it seems that most people prefer watching series and films instead of reading books.

I was young and never asked my husband if he read, and was surprised partway through our courtship to find he didn't. Many boyfriends I had prior did read and we discussed books. I didn't think it was a game changer, but it did leave a hole in our relationship, because I enjoyed reading. After a time of marital discord, he started reading my books. He read A Fine Balance, which is no small task. The Cantabury Tales. came next, and he enjoyed telling me about them. I later took a course on Chaucer, and we discussed his work.

I'd advise that if your partner doesn't share your passion for hobbies like reading, they had better have passion somewhere else. (Sorry, I couldn't resist)
