I most recently read The Legacy of Job's Wife by Cynthia Koelker and gave it 4/4 stars. It was brilliant and deeply moving.

The last book I read was "Man Mission" by Eytan Uliel. I liked reading a book written from a man's perspective. It shows how different men are from women. And I enjoyed the adventures they took. I rated it a 3/4 I didn't like the profane language. There was too much of it.

Illustrated short fiction of William H. Coles: 2000-2016.....I thought it worthy of a 4 out of 4 because despite the lack of developed characters and story climaxes through out (and the useless illustrations, if you wish to know) its a book that shows us the bitter truths of life and it does that conversationally and sometimes humorously.

Last book I read was Parable of the Sower by Octavia Butler. Honestly, 4/5. The journal structure of the book allowed the readers to connect on a higher level with the main character and gave rise to a better understanding of the character's development throughout the book.

The last book I read was House Of Eire by June Gillam. I loved every minute of the book, which is 3rd in its series, so much so that I got the other 3. It has great storylines, believable characters, and can be read as a stand alone novel. I gave it a 4 out of 4 stars and would highly recommend it to others.

I guess the last actual novel I read (not a manga or a Buddhist sutra), was The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros.

I would give it 3/4 stars. I liked Carmelo by the same author ever so much more. I bought another copy of Caramelo to give my future children.

Three mages and a margarita by annette marie was great. Very well written, and it starts off with a hot headed server hitting a rude customer in the head with a serving platter.
