my rereads are usually my guilty pleasures. Empress of the World by Sara Ryan, The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger and Beauty by Robin McKinley have all been read dozens of times. Beauty is my go-to book when i want to read but don't know what to pick. i never get tired of it.

There are so many books that I didn't read and are waiting for me, that I can't afford to spend the time rereading old ones :(

Does re-reading a series count? If so, it would have to be Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series.

If series do count, then it would have to be Colleen McCullough's "First man in Rome" series. I have heard that she studied for ten years on Ancient Rome before she started this epic series. It really shows. After reading these books I became interested in Ancient Rome myself and collect any books (fiction or non-fiction) on Rome that I can find. :)

The dictionary. Followed by the thesaurus.
I have not reread many other books except when I am doing historical research.
I have read so many books I don't think I could list them here. But of the ones I consult most, here is the list:
The Bible (King James)
Mythology
Plato The Republic
Dracula
The Adventures of Arthur Conan Doyle (my latest)
Why Fiction Works

I am usually careful not to read too many books when I am working on a book project so I am not influenced.

I love books with magic realism, so I can read Like Water for Chocolate over and over again :D

It makes life more interesting when you wonder/believe that the supernatural exists, and not in an extraordinary way, but as a part of life.

I think the book I've read the most is The Bride by Julie Garwood.

I reread The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The first time I read it was when I was in grade school. It is one of my favorites.

"Grown-ups never understand anything by themselves, and it is tiresome for children to be always and forever explaining things to them." --- from The Little Prince.

Wuthering Heights! I've re-read this so many times, but I prefer to read new things if I can.
