Fantasy, fiction and dark children's novels, but I avoid romance like the plague, just not into that into it. >>

I like drama, sci-fi, action, rom-coms. But I really like a book that has a great message or teaches people something. I know, most books do, but some are a lot of fluff and I think that some are even harmful. I don't necessarily like to be hit over the head with the message, I don't need to be preached to the entire book, but a message that's subtle and that doesn't take away from the enjoyment I welcome with open arms because I know it's something that can help society become better as a whole. :)

I'm a YA girl, myself. I also like nonfiction, especially if it is quirky or academic, and I will read just about anything except westerns, erotica, and high fantasy/sci-fi.

I like to read mysteries, romances, anything by Stephen King, memoirs, autobiographies, and cookbooks.

I love historical fiction, anything that opens up the culture of another company is also great. A fine balance by Rohinton Mistry was disturbing but a great read.

My favorite genre is historical fiction. I also read a lot of fantasy and Sci-fi lately. Lately, I have been picking up on more of the YA books now that I teach middle school. There are some pretty good ones out there.

None of the above! Mainly horror, or dystopian sci-fi!

I'm a historical romance type of person. No idea why, really, I just love them. I also like Christian fiction. I have never read a fantasy/sci-fi book.
