I would like to a lot but I don't think I would truly consider it.
I want to stand as close to the edge as I can without going over.
Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center.

I'm sooo glad you asked this question. Owning a bookstore is something to do on my bucket list. I would love to own one in a nice little vintage house with nice café & bakery that sale wine, coffee, and other snacks. A place to poets came come share their poetry, local bands can place their music, and a place where authors can meet. I imagine it being a place where people can learn. A place where authors teach creative writing, or other interesting classes, a place for kids & teenagers. I could go on and own about this. All a bookstore is, is a one room mall and each genre is its own little store.

Yes, ever since I started reading books, I have always dreamed of owning a bookstore. I dreamed of owning a bookstore because I can read newly released books.

Who hasn't! My problem would be leaving and not constantly reading the books. Also, I would probably have an issue stocking books that I am not a fan of.

Not really to be honest- i prefer the pleasure and relaxation involved with browsing a bookshop and looking at all the genres than the financial reality of owning and running a store!

It's one of my dreams for the future, perhaps, my post-retirement plan. I hope that the bookstore will help inculcate the habit of reading in the lives of young people around me.

Weirdly I haven't. I have dreamed of working in a bookstore, and getting discounts on books and helping people find great books to enjoy as well as being one of the first people to see new releases - but the actual work of owning a bookstore doesn't appeal to me.
