Ha it reminds me of the scene in The Road where the father and son, starving and freezing, chance upon a house with a secret basement of food, drink and supplies, in your case it would be intellectual stimulation

I guess this is one of the most common problems with book lovers.

I currently have a little over a hundred unread books, yet I often find myself browsing Amazon, Pinterest, and Bookstagram accounts in search of intriguing titles to add to my collection.

Many, several history books, psychology, parenting, poetry. Sometimes I need to stop my habit of buying books when I'm interested only to not read them later.

I have a handful of books that I've picked up but haven't read.

A Winter's Promise by Christelle Dabos
Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo
Girl in the Blue Coat by Monica Hesse

They were impulse buys but I don't tend to reach out for them because I think for some reason, I think of them as great books to grab if I was leaving on a trip and needed a book for a plane ride. In reality, my kindle or phone is probably a better fit for such trips, and I should actually crack open these books!

I've been trying to use my library more and more, so that when I do buy books, they are ones I absolutely adore that I will want to keep re-reading or loaning out to friends and family.

I bought a bunch of classics cheap at a library book sale. Bless Me Ultima, Middlesex, a few by Joyce Carol Oates, and probably a couple more I can’t recall off the top of my head! I can’t be blamed they were only $3!
