Over 100 pages is what I've grown accustomed to. But up to four hundred is always a good challenge.

About 400 is usually perfect. Too many pages and I feel like its dragging. And not enough pages seems like the author did not have enough to say.

Anything is good , really depends on the idea and how well they present it but 300 odd pages is guess is good if it is fiction.

I definitely enjoy longer books but it has to feel organic to the story. I really dislike books that I feel like they are dragging along.

It usually depends on the type of book...if it's a really interesting book then 300+ is good.

Novels, preferably, so...anywhere from 200-300 pages. However Raymond Carver has great short story collections, so in that case, even just a few pages will do.

When I was younger I liked novels best, but I'm growing increasingly more inclined towards short stories.

Well, any length is fine, as long as I enjoy what I'm reading. But, usually 300 to 600 pages.

I don’t really like to read too short or too long books so about 300-600 pages are fine. 250 so also okay, but I don’t really go over 600 pages much.

I don't really mind the length of a book as long as it's a good book. There's nothing worse than being bored with a book and still having loads of pages to get through as I hate giving up on books and always finish them unless I really don't like it.

I prefer the longer books. I like books that keep me occupied for a long time, not just a couple hours. I want to immerse myself into a story and be there as long as I can. So when I look for books, I tend to try and look for the longer books, though I still read the shorter ones from time to time.

I like books that are around 400-500 pages. This gives you enough time to enjoy the character, but makes it so you don't dread reading a book because it's length.
