Now reading Catch by Will Leitch... again. This has got to be my third or fourth time reading it this year.

It's my fall back book. I'm waiting on Dan Brown's Lost Symbol to come in the mail, and while I'm waiting, I didn't want to get caught up in a heavy reading book... so Catch is back open.

Every time I start reading it again, I'm surprised (again) by how much I love it!

The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. beautifully written, take it as it is if u don't wanna be frustrated with 'gaps' in the plot. nicely paced and u don't need to think too much when u read it but u'll get excited nonetheless

Joe. wrote:Just finished A Prayer for Owen Meany and its easily teh best book I've read. Going through Confederacy of Dunces and Picture of Dorian Gray now.

Love Dorian Gray. If you're one of those people that like quotes, this book is full with good quotes (well, i think anyway). it is so ahead of its time

I'm reading Lolita, Mister Monday, and Bridget Jones's Diary. Somebody on my blog recommended Mister Monday to me because I'm so sad to be done the Harry Potter series, which I LOVED. So far it's not working, but I'm only about two chapters in.

Next up is Persuasion and The Unbearable Lightness of Being, and somewhere after that I've got to fit in The Stand, Middlemarch, So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish, and Mostly Harmless. Then I have a big long list of stuff I'd like to read, stuff that's been recommended to me, and stuff that might help me get over the end of my relationship with Harry Potter. ;o)

Right now I'm finishing up this book called Rutka's Notebook: A Voice From the Holocaust (its the diary of a child who was perished in a concentration camp. Some call her "the Polish Anne Frank"). I really love reading historic things dealing with the wars and such because I wasn't born when any of this happened and history can be interesting sometimes :D .

I started reading Sarah's Key. It's the story of a young girl who gets taken away with her parents by the french police. Her brother is left behind to hide in a part of the house while she takes the key and promises to come back for him. They don't.

I just got it too. Have't sat down to read it yet, but I've read the Prologue so far... sounds fantastic!

Dan Brown's first books were complete junk, but the DaVinci Code series is phenominal! I hope he can keep it up throughout the Lost Symbol.
