A lot of the posts here have mentioned that it relaxes them while they're in a bath. Not me. When I read a book during a bath, it's not for the relaxation. The hot water will do that part. I love reading a book because while in the relaxed atmosphere, I can see the story play out in my head so much more vividly. The quiet, steamy ambiance during a bath makes it easier to focus on the book. The books I've read during baths always become my most favorite books.

In Holland we have a cheap version of complete books, printed on newspaper-paper (probably not the correct word?).
Those are excellent for reading in a bath or swimming pool or on the beach.
Bloopers in my spelling or grammar?? A PM will be greatly appreciated... I do (almost) anything to improve my English!

No I'm too engrossed in the bathing to pay much attention to other things.

Besides since i prefer reading electronically its not a good idea.

All the time, when I have a good book I don't want to put it down, even when having a bath.

Oh, absolutely! I'm always paranoid about the book getting wet, so I'm very careful while I do, though!

I remember when I was eleven reading Les Miserables in the bath tub and I accidentally soaked the bottom of the book...it was tragic but I saved it and I still have my slightly wrinkled and yellow copy!

What a lovely thread!

I usually take a bath just to give me the opportunity to read! It means the pages wind up wrinkly but it's always worth it :D .

Yes... It's even better if you have a glass of red wine handy and some nibbles...Don't forget the candles and bubble bather.. Nothing like it for relaxing.. Just pick an exciting book.. so you don't fall asleep :P :P
