I don't - unless it is a cookbook or textbook! I don't feel I need to unless I need the pages to lay flat while I take notes and work my way through the book. I try to keep the books I buy in great condition otherwise so I don't really mess with them a lot.

I have certainly done it accidentally, but I don’t think I’ve ever wrung out the spine like that on purpose. I would still like the title to look nice on my bookshelf haha
