I prefer to read fiction. I get too involved in the story to stop and try to read anything else. I get so involved in the story that I don't want to stop to do anything else at all.

I recently just started reading more than one book a time. Usually I have one on my Kindle and one psychical copy that I'm working through. Sometimes more than that, but if a book is really long or really good and requires most of my attention, I'll stick to that one book.

Normally I'll be in the middle of 2-4 books at a time. When I had more time to read in high school, I would read up to 7 at a time, and just choose based on what type of story I was interested in that day. Similar to the way I watch tv shows on Netflix. It's all based on the day I've had.

Due to being a student, I'll often read several at a time. Typically lately, at least three or more literature books for classes, combined with one or two books for pleasure. I've had considerably more free time in the past, which made it much easier to read multiple books for pleasure at once, but usually I'll be more engrossed in one than the others, and can't put it down until I finish. Hopefully I'll have more free time again in the future so I can read much more. I love drifting away...no doubt.

I usually read three books at a time. I like to rotate them when one begins moving a little slowly. I usually read three different genres at once. It really keeps things interesting and exciting for me. However, if I am reading a book and it is really great and I just cannot put it down, I will continue to read until I am finished with that particular book.

Usually 2 books. I have one in my car that I read when I stop for traffic lights or any other traffic related delay. And I have one that I read at home.

I cant read more than one book of the same genre, i get extremely confused, but if one for example is business and the other is romance, then maybe a maximum two books.

I prefer to read one book at a time, but I can read up to 3 when the mood strikes. Although, that only happens if the original book I was reading was slightly less than good.

Somehow I have broken my own cycle and have taken on four books at once. This has never really happened before. I have:
1 "serious" book
1 YA "fun" book
1 classic "difficult" book
and 1 book a short stories

I prefer to only read one book at a time. I find that I tend to miss things or start mixing my stories together, if I read more than one book at a time.
