Hyddenworld: Awakening (Book 2 of the series) by William Horwood. Gave it a 4 out of 5, but should have been a 3 now that I've had time to think about it, lol. Still going to read the rest of the series, when I can find it.

I read Death Benefit by Robin Cook.
This is a story a young doctor who gets caught up in the race to provide transplantable organs for people. There are large amounts of money at stake, unknown to her. Add to that a family connection that ties together at the end of the book.
It's a good Robin Cook, with real medical knowledge. I give it 4.5 out of 5. It isn't spectacular, just good.

A few passages was a little overwritten and unnecessary though. Apart from this last thing i absolutley loved it.

I was impressed with the way he developed the story. . .when I saw it on film and read it again I was even more impressed with his skill. RIP

Shelter
Blood Haze: Book One - By Tara Shuler

I rated the book a 3/5. It had a decent story but the sentences where so short and choppy. Very straight to the point, little to no in depth description of what was going on in the story.

Ender's Shadow by Orson Scott Card. It takes place in the same world & at the same time as Ender's Shadow, from a different point of view. I would rate this book a 5/5 or 10/10 (whatever our ranking system is :? ) for sure!

"Fry and Laurie Read Daudet and Jerome" - Audio book as broadcast on BBC Radio 4.

Englishmen Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie have excellent voices for audio books. Both are famous for their humorous and not so humorous TV series but this foray into reading aloud is superb. Apart from their rich tones, the stories are imaginative, elegant and beautifully composed by 19th and 20th century authors Alphonse Daudet and the eternal Jerome K Jerome.

Every so often, I indulge in an audio book and of course there are more modern, much faster and less stylish audio CDs available but this one is perfect for a relaxing day at home. I think the cover art could have been better executed, nevertheless for sheer refinement this one is hard to beat!

I give it 5 of 5 stars - and I'm a bit of a Fry & Laurie fan.

I never try audiobooks before. Most reviews I found on the net about audiobooks kinda renders my intention to try one.

Dangerous Games by Lora Leigh. I love the storyline behind it. It's about a Seal and a DEA Agent that are forced to come together to bring down a Cartel. I gave it a 2 out of 5 Stars because it just seemed to focus more on them being too involved "in each other" than what was going on around them and throughout the book some of it was hard to read due to bad misspellings or complete wrong words in sentences to the point I have to spend more than a minute trying to figure out what she was saying. Other than that it is a pretty good book.

I just finished the 2nd book of the hunger games Catching fire and now begun the third.
Really enjoying these series of books, unexpected twists and surprising events, one of the best reads so far.
