I'm always too scared of damaging the book with water. I've taken baths with my Ipad but never really thought about reading. I don't like ebooks as much as the physical form of a book. So every time i want to read while taking a bath, which is usually with normal books, i just wish and wish books were waterproof.

- The struggle.

I love that - there are certain books that I treat as tenderly and carefully as a mother tends her newborn, but my secondhand paperbacks tell a story of their own and I love their world-weary exterior as dearly as the precious ones.Zepher07 wrote:Yup. I know the water messes the book up a little, and I do feel sad about that sometimes, but I think the mark of a good book is how well it is worn. If you love it, you will take it everywhere.
So I am equally willing to bring a good book to a hot bath to increase the pleasure of both (with certain precautions to ensure one does not land in the other)..
