I like to start by reading the book.  I dread it when the final scene is tweaked in the movie.

Books has its own charm it brings out our imagination to another level , very few movies that are adapted from books can do that .

Honestly watch the movie first

The reason for this is this, if i watch an adaption and i enjoy it, and than i read the book afterwards, and i find that the adaption was not very good, i will still enjoy the adaption regardless since i enjoyed it before i read the book.

I don`t know if that made sense.

Choosing between a book and a movie depends on your preferences. Books offer a deeper dive into the story, allowing your imagination to run wild. You create the visuals. Movies provide ready-made visuals and are great for a quicker, more passive experience. Both are fantastic in their own ways, offering unique storytelling adventures.

I would watch the movies first. Then the book will be an exciting peak into the characters and the plot. After reading the book, the movie will most likely lose its charm.

Books first, movies later. I believe that reading the book before watching the movie helps me grasp the storyline and intricate details much better.

I would definitely rather read the book first, but I’ve done it the other way around before (like if I didn’t realize the movie was based on a book) and I still enjoyed it.
