Normally I use a sticky note or library receipt, as they are simple and can be found easily. At rare times, I sometimes do not even use a bookmark, and just skip to the page that I remember reading from. When I get the chance to, I would actually want to buy a nice bookmark or two based on my interests.

I tend to use the library receipt. But I also have a couple Ive made. I used to make my friends bookmarks with pockets in the middle. Then I would write a small letter about why I appreciated them, and tuck it in there. Most of the time they never tore it apart to find it, so they just had my positive letter with them anytime they read anything.

On another topic though, I hate bookmarks that are to thick. Like the ones that aren't paper thin, so they end up pushing the binding of the book apart a little when you close it. I hate those!!!

I usually end up ripping the corner off of a page from a composition notebook and use it until it literally falls apart.

I actually have a bookmark collection; some of them dating over 15 years. I always use them when reading.

I got some little magnetic clips from Barnes and Noble. They have an arrow on once side and music notes or symbols on the other. You can easily clip them onto a page to mark your place without worrying about it damaging the page.

Lol! I have no set bookmark at all! Anything I set my eyes on first becomes the book mark. SOmetimes I either just remember which page I was in or skim through pages until I find the right page. I'm not very peeved at losing my place in the story line.

I have so many beautiful bookmarks that people have given me as gifts but unfortunately, I tend to just grab whatever is at hand! I love the ones that come free with book orders.

Hello! For bookmarks, I use real bookmarks, old photos, laminated papers, and sometimes anything that I can leave inside a book. :D
Stay safe! Sending hugs

I used to use any old paper until recently when I bought a bookmark.

Scrap paper or Library receipts. I try to give them a defined shape, I don't want them to just be lifeless objects that can get lost too easily.

I usually use whatever I can find, but nowadays I read a lot of ebooks, so I don't really need a bookmark.

I usually use bookmarks. Almost all of those are handmade. The process of making bookmarks is therapeutic and I enjoy it so much.

I use proper bookmarks. Even I love buying them. Without a bookmark I can't read a book except poetry.

I will use whatever is simply lying around as a bookmark. Trash, a scrap of paper, a piece of plastic, a business card. I am not picky when it comes to that.
