There is too many thing that attract me to reading. My main reason is that I like to learn. I like imagining myself in another world, I like to relax and be entertained. Many people today just don't believe books are important. Yet, most of the things you learn in school you get from a book. Even if you don't have an internet connection you can just go to a library and read. The right book can be as interesting as a great movie. There so many books that you never be bored. This is what keeps me reading.

It's my way of unwinding. It takes me to a whole new world where those around me know nothing about. I love reading just naturally.i just love it.

A million thoughts pop into my head when I think about why I read. The ones that stand out the most, however, are that I read to escape the monotony of everyday life as well as to learn new things.

The main reason I love to read is that it keeps me going for some reason. Every story I read makes me want to keep moving forward and try to be a better person, like some of the characters I enjoy reading.

Reading is amazing! It makes me experience and feel things that I don't think I could ever experience in real life.

I think probably this Umberto Eco quote gets closest to describe (only one of many reasons) why I love reading: “The person who doesn’t read lives only one life. The reader lives 5,000. Reading is immortality backwards.” :techie-studyingbrown:
Also reading gives a possibility to get away from the problems of your own life. So that when you get back into it again, you can approach those difficulties with fresh thoughts, with new energy. It is a way of connection for many, and a great way of enhancing your capability to see many aspects of situations. I believe reading helps you to have a better understanding of other's point of views.

I like reading for two main reasons. One is to escape. I don't often read to escape and when I do it is always fantasy novels. I mostly read to learn more about life and other perspectives. I realize it may sound odd to get advice on life from books but it is a good source in my opinion. I learn to hope, to care, to grieve, etc from books and I truly can't imagine a world without them.

I read to learn and expand knowledge because a lot vital informations are hidden in books. A book can change someone's life either positively or negatively.

I like reading because it's a part of my life now. I just can't miss it. It's like a loyal companion teaching new tips, reminding past moments, helping in one way or other, good time pass, and teaching resilience. Reading helps a man travel all over the world and in the past ages while sitting on a couch. Reading is a luxury that has no alternative, no comparison with anything else.

Because I love words that move me, and when used correctly weave beautiful stories.
And also because the real world is too hurting.
