Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counselors, and the most patient of teachers. ~Charles W. Eliot

You took the words right out my mouth. Ha ha. I love being transported to a new world, embody the perspective of new people. That's why I read: for escapism. Except non-fiction; I read that for information.Bookreader615 wrote:A book is like a good movie- it takes you away from your current situation and gives an alternate view for the time while you read.

I love nothing more than reading a book quietly in the livingroom whilst its raining. It takes me to another place.
