This!! During school, I'll be reading, and someone will just start talking to me. I try to respond with a nod or "yeah" and go back to reading. What gets me is when they keep continuing to talk, even when I start reading again. Let me read in peace.Zepher07 wrote: ↑25 Sep 2013, 17:20 People who can clearly see that you are reading, but insist on having a full-blown conversation with you anyway. These people do not even ask if you want to converse with them. This happens to me all the time when I try to read when I'm on my break at work. I just want to relax with a good book. Is that too much to ask?
Also, when people tell me I read too much and try to take my book away?? They don't like it when I tell them they're on their phone too much and try to take it away.

"Go out and get some "real" friends"
"Go out and enjoy the sunlight don't just sit there with your lamp and books"
"You won't be Einstein by reading those books"
They're annoying, really.
