Tried. Failed. Something I'm not going to try again unless what I'm reading isn't valuable or is waterproof. Haha, I've only tried it in hotels.

Absolutely! Haven't ruined my tablet yet, so I'll probably keep going until I break it.

I haven't mastered this ability yet. I always get the book wet :(

If you are reading on a tablet or reader, try putting it in a waterproof case or a zip lock bag. This is great for protection! Its the only way I read in the bath.

I try not to read with a normal hard copy of the book because the water tends to warp the pages but yes I do read while in the bath because it allows me to tune out everything and focus on the book in my hands

Love a hot bath and a good book, however I found it takes some talent!
#1. You have to fill the tub with just enough water/bubbles so you can add more hot water because you've been in there way too long but can't stand the thought of getting out yet.
#2. You must always, always, always keep the one dry hand, for holding the book/kindle.
#3. The emergency towel for that accidental splash
#4. A lock on the door and the ability to pretend "no one's home" when the kids come knocking.

My bathtub is the size of a bucket, so I never use it. Shower only. And that just wouldn't work.

But I would be pretty impressed if other people here read while in the shower!

I have, I have an old cast iron foot tub and I got a rack that goes across the top that I use to read.

Ooh, I'll give that a try the next time I check into a hotel! Thanks!

Yes. There is nothing I like better than running a hot bubble bath and then getting in and reading for a couple of hours. I enjoy the privacy and the comfort while reading a fantastic story that takes me far away from my present life.
