Reading is an escape from an uneventful day. I find it to also be a brain exercise when I read mystery novels, which are my favourite.

I adore reading and I am writing a children's book as I am a Teacher also. I love all topics, especially auto-biographies, mystery, adventure, self help, art, music, history, politics, military, etc.

Reading is a relaxing thing for me. However, when I read I get so involved in the book I get absolutely nothing accomplished all day. My husband doesn't really like it when I read because I ignore everything, and every body. Ah well too bad. :D

I like reading because it relaxes your mind whenever having a rough day. And I'm learning a lot of things from this. I read everything like books, magazines, comics, newspapers, blog posts, encyclopedia, almanac and even fan fictions.

I love reading so much because it allows me to get lost in a different world in it is a fiction book or the enjoyment of discovering what drives people to be the people that they are :-)

Reading has always been a terrific escape for me. Immersing myself in a book has been one of my favorite things to do since I was a child. I remember going to the library when I was in sixth grade and checking out Stephen King books and the librarian came up to me and asked me if I wouldn't like to try some Mary Higgins Clark to which I politely replied that I had already ready them all... She actually checked my record and found it to be true and let me check out my horror stories

I don't think I have an answer to this! Reading is something that comes to me so naturally since I was a child. I was always attracted to books! Also reading is what keeps my imagination alive. I don't know what I would have done if I didn't read a book. Perhaps I'd be a much more stunted individual in terms of conversation and writing.

It's an opportunity to escape the real world and live someone else's life for a while. Also, to learn about new things and times in history.

I love escaping into someone else's dream for a while. I love not knowing where the story is going and looking at the world from a new perspective. Also, I like to be entertained

It helps me escape reality and allows me to live vicariously through situations I might not otherwise get to experience.

Why wouldn't I? It lets me live in someone else's world for a while without risking anything in my own!

I like cause I can get into the characters of any books & make my own imaginary sets. It's awesome. The reason why sometime I can't enjoy movies made from any books or novels.

Thanks
