I personally love a paperback book. They’re easier to hold and I like to bend the book, don’t come for me.

It's definitely paperbacks for me because they are easily obtainable by me and also very easy to carry around.

Hardcover, through and through! Paperbacks have their purpose and uses. But there is nothing like holding a large, solid, hardback book in your hands with premium paper and printing quality. Hardback books hold their smell longer too - they’re so much more fun to open and smell than paperback books.

Well I prefer a nice hardcover because I can be a little rough with my books when I get them. Granted my favorite avenue of reading is audiobooks especially if it’s a great narrator! I feel like they bring out the feelings, the story in a way that makes me feel like it’s happening right in front of me lol!

I have always preferred Hard back so they don't get destroyed so easily going in and out of purses, shelves, backpacks.

In terms of my feelings, while handling them, I can't really tell the difference between the two. However, paperbacks are much easier to carry on the way to work.

Paperback. I prefer them in hardcover if I try to collect them for aesthetic reasons. Sometimes they make a special edition with a new cover.

I prefer hardcover books, but as they are more expensive, I usually have to choose a mix of 90% paperback and 10% hardcover. Hardcover books are only for extraordinary books. :D

Paper back as cheaper to buy the excitement of seeing the new book of a series out in hardback and the anticipated wait for the for the paperback to be released, sometimes could not wait and succumbed to buying the Trade paperback but then the whole set had to be brought in that format.

Paperbacks are lighter and are more feasible when reading on the bed. But hardcovers are for the royal feelings. I'm neutral on this one.

Can you imagine standing in an outdoor bus station for at least half an hour while it's raining? Better to distract yourself with reading, on your cell phone or paperback the same, whatever your interest is at the moment. Is it a poetic moment?
