Yes, the internet is really helpful. It helps me to choose what I want and read what I want. Internet is a blessing in disguise.

I’m happy to find a book I’m interested in any of these ways but I don’t find them in newspapers simply because I don’t get newspapers. If someone tells me about a great book that sounds interesting in person, on the Internet, or I just see one on Goodreads, it doesn’t matter. Sometimes I do just browse the shelves.

Yes, it helps a lot. For example, this OBC website provides many references to good books. There are also many influencers on Instagram who give me a lot of book recommendations.

In the digital age, finding a book to read has never been easier, thanks to a variety of sources. Personally, I use a combination of methods to choose my next read. Online platforms and forums like this are incredibly valuable for discovering new books and getting diverse opinions. I also find that there’s something special about physically handling books and seeing their covers in person, which can spark interest in unexpected ways.

The internet and the newspaper can help promote a book by displaying interested cover arts People normally judge a book by its cover unfortunately

Actually, it does! There are times that I see a reel on instagram or equivalent and they mention a book I've read and say "If you liked this book, check out..." and then list off a few suggestions. I always get excited and note them down. Besides that, I enjoy seeing lists of the best sellers on amazon, to see if there are any that catch my eye.
