I have never read a book that made me cry but I have definitely watched a movie that made me cry.

The book I am listening to now, is very hard to listen to without crying. It is by Amy Harmon. Title is "From Sand and Ash." This narrator, Cassandra Campbell, is fabulous. She has the most talented skill to read all the characters with different voices. The main character is Ava, an Italian Jew and other character is Angelo, an Italian man, who became a Catholic priest. The story begins as they are children, and the story goes on to their adult lives. Such beautiful English with Italian accent, I am almost talking that way! Such heartache, emotions and fear in this story of life during the Holocaust. The author is brilliant and along with the narrator, I can only listen for maybe a 1 hour and have to stop for a while and grieve for the Jews and all the people how tried to stop the madness that were also tortured and killed. Never forget.

I remember vividly. It was "Kitchen Table Wisdom" by Dr. Rachel Naomi Remen.

I am pretty sensitive but one book that still makes me weep is "The Fault in our Stars" by John Green.
I cried for months after finishing that book and cried even more after seeing the movie.

For some reason the Time Traveler's Wife has always made me cry, every time I read it. There's a few quotes from it that do it, as well as some of the ending scenes. There was a TV adaption of the book which was actually very good but didn't have the same effect, interestingly enough.

I have cried while reading numerous books, I can't even count. I have cried while reading some famous novels in my native language, and my eyes were red the next day. I cried while reading 'Harry Potter' when Sirius Black, Dumbledore, and Snape died. I recently cried while reading the biography of Dr. Berrah.

Purple Hibiscus made me cry.

I cried over The Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini. I sobbed my eyes out after reading that book and still feel like crying if I remember some of the scenes from that book.
