I'm reading a very steamy sex novel by Jackie Christian
called "Todd Brady--Football Star."

Trust me, if you want to LEARN something, this book will
teach you stuff.

You may never go to Heaven for reading it,

but this book will teach you something. lol!

Last night I read her book "The UPS Guy" (ladies get that one!)
and whenever I don't feel like "heavy, serious" books, find myself loving these smart little sex books. They are SMART now!
Dear Blonde Nicole:

Astak is starting a new eBook Store (website) next week. We make eBook Readers and now will launch the eBook Store. We are going to have Romance/Erotic as a category. Can you tell me, please, how women feel about graphic sex in prose? Is it a definite "want" or something a little short of graphic. Where is the line now? I know what men like; but I really would like your opinion. This is NOT a joke or a come-on. I really want to know. We do not want to be too tame!

Just finished a great sprawling novel: Empire Falls.

Now reading An Instance of the Fingerpost by Iain Pears. I'm trying to find out if this author is actually an American. So many America writers move to the UK & pretend they are English, Irish, etc. or at least hint that they are. Pears bio just starts out saying that where he went to college & worked. Everywhere I looked it was the same. That's how I got suspicious about some others & they were originally from the US. I'm an American myself, but I just want to know. For some reason it's important for me to know where an author was actually raised.

I'm about halfway through "The Overlook," a book in Michael Connelly's Harry Bosch series. It's a really great series and I'd recommend it to any mystery/detective story fans who enjoy a quick read of good quality!

I'm halfway through the Cure by Anand. Great book. They came out with a movie based on this book called Extraordinary Measures. By the way, someone was wondering where Iain Pears is from, he's from a city called Coventry, England.

I'm always reading at least 3 books at the same time (my nightstand looks like a bookshelf)

Currently:
Gone with the wind (only about 2 lbs out of the original 17 lbs left to go on that one...whew!)
World War Z
The name of the wind

Wow after reading that I seem to have a wind obsession?

I'm currently reading the "Sweep" series by Cate Tiernan

-good books
-not a big fan of the writing style though, to me it seems... i don't know how to say it, each sentence seems drawn out too much, things are put in that shouldn't be, they should be pretty obvious and not need to be said.
