Been there, done that. Some books read much quicker than others. It's usually the books I don't have to really think about while reading. Other books, the "thinking" novels, take much longer.

I love days when I have the time to read a whole book. Doesn't happen as often as it used to,

No secret for me! I had a day off of work, and I decided it was too hot to do anything but read a good book!

Absolutely nothing wrong with it unless it keeps you from doing such things as working, cooking, cleaning, etc. I ought to know--my family had to wait for dinner a few times!

I don't think that is bad at all.afterall for book lovers it is indeed impossible to put down a book once we have begun.......I myself have lost sense of time and other stuff while reading a book.....its a indeed a bad habit which I wld never want to rectify......

That's funny that you posted this question. I just posted on FB about reading my book in one day as well. Sometimes we get so involved with the characters and plot that it is hard to put the book down.

How can it be bad to have both a captivating book in hand and the gift of time enough to read it in one day? Sounds luxurious to me.

I usually hate it when I finish a book in a day because I feel like I can never adequately appreciate it unless I read it over a few days and let it absorb into my imagination, but most of the time I can't help it if it is a great book!

Not sure it's bad if you've got the time. I myself rarely have that kind of time free, but hope that one day I will!

Reading a book a day is great! I've done it many times, the only thing you have to be careful for is the people around you. Remember they may want to spend some time with you.

I don't think it's a problem if you end a book to fast unless you blew through it and didn't actually understand it or truly appreciate it
