I honestly don’t know why people would not like buying books online. It is simply way easier.

It depends... if it is just a 1 time read, I'll look for an option that is most economical. If I am going to hold on to the book, I'd like to chk the quality and pick a good copy. This can be done online too, as you always have the option to return if not happy with the quality.

I always buy books online. There are very few times when I bought them from a bookstore and it was then I realized that I take so much time in choosing which ones to buy:( At least buying online gives me an ample amount of time to decide, as I am very bad in decision making when it comes to books and choosing is another war form myself. Another reason is buying online gives me a safe and comfortable environment and I can decide on my own without being watched!

These days, yes. Books in my country are too expensive because it's really a lot of trouble waiting for official translations, international import fees and general bureaucracy. Even if digital books in my area are more expensive than Europe or the US, now I prefer digital books.

I do prefer to purchase my books online because of convenience, but I also want to support bookstores/my local bookstores, and I believe that few things compare to the feel of when you purchase a book with your own hands and take it home to read it.

Browsing through an online bookstore and an offline store where you can touch and smell between the pages are completely different experiences.

Any day, I'd choose offline over online.

But unfortunately, we do not have many bookstores here.

So, yeah! For now, I prefer buying books online, especially on Amazon, because there's literally no book the platform cannot give me.

Growing up, I had no other choice but to buy books in stores. But I think buying books online is more hassle-free, and they also offer good discounts online. Some stores usually don’t have the books I am searching for, so my time is wasted going to the store. Therefore, I prefer buying books online. I still buy in stores occasionally, though.
