I'm a moderate reader. Sometimes, I skip sentences and other times I read in between the lines.

I consider myself a bit of everything. I skim when I notice that an idea is dragging slowly. When I come across something in a story that I don't understand, I sometimes reread the last two paragraphs to see if I can find the missing link. More often than not, I do.

I'm a fast reader but do reread to let the information sink deeply.

I mean I just read. I don't know how to explain. I don't skim and I don't re read paragraphs I just read. Sometimes I will re read but only for fun or for the shock effect.

when it is a Non- fiction, I refer back when I forget something I read in past pages, when I believe it is important. For fiction, I read faster but never skim because I might miss the important historic turning.

I'm a moderately paced reader. I like to read each sentence and make sure I understand it. If it's too hard I'll take a break, read it again, and if it doesn't get into my head, I move on. I also find myself noting down good descriptions and unfamiliar words for research. Besides that, I always strive to enjoy myself.

I always read every word so that I don't miss out on details. But I read at a comfortable pace. If there is a part that I don't understand, I read it again. I look up words that I do not know to increase my vocabulary. I bring a book with me wherever I go.

I pay attention to what I'm reading, but during the slow parts, I skim through. If I feel like I missed something then I'll come back and read thoroughly.

I don't know why, but I can't help but skim. The book needs to be REALLY, REALLY up my street for me to actually read every single word. (Usually, if I read every single word, it's on the second read.) Sometimes, it's like I enjoy the book a lot, and I just want to know how it unfolds, and I can't help but skim through. Sometimes, I will go back though (that's mostly if I skimmed because I did not quite enjoy the book and now there's a scene or something I don't get).

I'd consider myself quite a fast reader. I sometimes finish entire trilogies in a span of one day, and I finished the entire Harry Potter series in one week. However, I absolutely cannot stomach skimming a book. I'm either reading it or I'm not.

It's so hard for me to skim. I read everything, and I re-read if I don't completely understand anything. Even when I skim unnecessary descriptions of settings, I'm always bothered that I've missed something important.

I don't read fast or slow. I think I'm in the middle of these two. I'm a focused reader.

I'm definitely not a skimmer!! To me it's rude, lol as I feel the author put so much time and effort in creating the novel that to skim is just not appreciating his/her work. I do also sometimes re-read a part that I feel I didn't understand.
