Science fiction and medical thrillers are the best, imo.

You've got that right! Medical thrillers are great! I'm reading the Dr Scarpetta series right now and it's awesome!

Realist, satirical, and dystopian fiction. Most of my non-fiction reads are either psychology or WWII/Nazi-Germany, with odds and ends here and there.

I mostly read non-fiction mostly relating to science. Just started "The Monkey Wrench Gang" in hardcover, with illustrations by R. Crumb. First "fiction" I've read in years. Edward Abbey has a great voice and the subject matter of pro-active environmentalists seemed interesting in light of the attempted Keystone Pipeline.

I really can't say. I just read whatever books that interest me. Genre doesn't really matter to me as long as the story is good.

I prefer romances or mysteries. I guess the only books I don't enjoy are historical romances and anything scary that will give me nightmares!

Sci-fi is usually my preferred type of book, but I am able to read almost any other type.
