I think it's too difficult to pick a favorite book. I love so many books for different reasons, and I feel like your favorite book will always change because it resonates with you at a certain time in your life.

I think that there isn't anything unnatural about that and you don't have to choose only one favorite book since there are so many out there. I've had a favorite book for years but than I started to read much more and found new favorites. So I don't compare them, I just have a top list of the best. :)

The thought of having a favourite book is inconceivable to me. How could I choose between say War and Peace and The Merchant of Venice? Or Alice in Wonderland and Peter Rabbit? Certainly taste changes as one gets older but every book I have read and enjoyed is equally important. It is like asking do you have a favourite child? You love them all no matter what!

My favourite at the moment is a long one - "The Forsyte Saga". I have it in 3 volumes; 3 books in each.

I don't have a single favorite. I am terribly indecisive. I have much loved ones that I reread every year or every few years, but I tend to think of whatever book I am reading at the moment as my favorite, until I find the next one.

I have so many favorite books it's hard to decide. But usually I consider my favorite the one I've read the most amount of times. I'll always love some while still acquiring new favorites along the way.

I no longer feel like I should use the word "favorite" when referring to books simply because I have misused and mistreated that word. To be honest, I'll be reading a book one second, and trying to pick a favorite in the same second.

Favorite means just 1 book. So many books that I love. Two come to mind. Time and Again and Light A Penny Candle. Old books but they stand out for me.
