Jane Eyre is amazing! Another one of my rereadsatrixa wrote:Agreed completely. I don't think she's right for the character.sleepydumpling wrote:I don't like the movie - Keira Knightly is SO not good enough to be Lizzie Bennett, but I do love the BBC Series with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle.

I reread a couple of Stephen King's books on purpose. I love The Stand and It. I've read both books more than once. Oh, and I can't forget The Talisman (cowritten by Stephen King and Peter Straub). I've read that one many times.NSUSA wrote:I think that I accidentally read a few Stephen King novels more than once, because I hadn't realized that I had read them before until after I had already started rereading them.

"He hears the victims cries and he is there. The gun-toting image of Wyatt Earp. But Wyatt Earp is dead, isn't he?".
There is just something about this. A long-dead Wyatt Earp suddenly hearing the cries of victims in the present day, appearing with the sound of a war whistle, toting a black-powder Buntline Special, and maintaining the code of the west while becoming "The Vigilante". A Police Detective is assigned the case. From the first Cordite stains (black powder) he is forced, slowly, to realize what cannot be real IS real!!

Why would anyone laugh? ... not my preferences but you are perfectly entitled to your opinion. Enjoy your reading that's the important thing & don't ever let intellectual snobbery bother you.JessyGirl88 wrote:Please don't laugh at me on this:

Many years ago I picked up a book of stories by C L Moore in a second hand bookshop. I had never heard of the writer and I really have no idea why I purchased it as science fiction/fantasy is not really my thing. But if I've read that book once I've read it numerous times especially when I feel in any way down. I truly love that book & it is always in my bedside locker and has helped me through many bad days.

These are all very different books and I love them all for different reasons! There are actually a few more that I tend to reread but... These four are enough for now... lol
