Nope, I wish I did so that I impart the reading culture to my children. I think it is time to start my own library at home.

I don't think you have to contact the library about setting up your own lending library.

There are plenty of little free libraries around where I live and I love them so much! What a great way to share and find books! When I was a book fairy I used to sometimes drop one of my books in there with a ribbon and a note. I love it

I haven't seen one where I am from but I live in the middle of nowhere. Back in my hometown, my best friend started her own, so I sometimes visit it when I am around the area!

Yes, I do have, but I think I can't call it a Library. But I have a lot of books in my shelves. In the very near future, I am planning to build a separate room for my personal library.

Where I reside, there are a few, and the books inside usually vary depending on where you are. For instance, the main county library's collection has a wide variety of books from all age groups and genres, whereas the one at the farmer's market typically only has books about gardening and farming. I usually attend the one at the main library branch because I know that both adults and children frequent it and because I enjoy giving books there that I will no longer be keeping so that someone else may have a chance to read them. In addition to promoting literacy, the little free libraries offer a terrific place for people to read, trade, discuss, or write notes about books.

I envy people in countries where there are many free library facilities. In my place, even if there are any, the provided books are usually of low quality.

I don’t have a free little library in my area either :( It sounds like a wonderful way to share books and discover new reads. Maybe one day a free little library will pop up in my neighborhood too. Or maybe I'll start one

Yes our place has one and it is my perfect spot to read books as it is silent there and I go there everyday and love the place very much.

No, I feel a little excited when I heard how many of them have in US. But from where I come from, my nearest library was from next to my Elementary School and it broke and was now abandoned ;;. I mean, I was too shy to get books from them at the time, but such a shame anyway.

Not exactly. Though we have one near the city center but it is not free, you have to pay a certain fee to gain entry
