I usually try to commit to one book at a time, given that once I get invested in a story and I really enjoy it, it takes preference over my other hobbies, and I can get kind of obsessive and have to finish it. At the most I can't read more than 2 at once. I typically have a book in my purse that I take everywhere so I can read at any time, but my books that I have on e-reader (for my computer), I typically read at night. I think any more than 2 for me would be confusing, but that's just me.

I've tried reading more than one book at the same time but I'm usually distracted thinking about the other book that I'm not reading, so I read one a time and it usually takes 1-2 days to finish.

I usually read 3 books at once but now a days I read 2 books at once. It's because I feel like I have too many books to read and I have too little time

I have recently found myself reading 2-3 books at a time, and I'm really glad there are many people out there that do the same. My husband keeps telling me that I need to stick with one at a time.

I read three books at a time- one for a book review, one which is usually either a hard or slow read or non-fiction, and One for a light breezy read.

For now, I'm reading a poetry book and a classic at the same time. Sounds good but I forgot that I'm currently in a reading slump.

On a regular basis I read 2 books at time. One on my Kindle app, and I always have a physical book to read before going to bed at night.

I have never wanted to nor enjoyed reading a lot of books at once. I always stuck with reading one at a time and fully getting lost in that one story for the time.

Usually 3 or 4 but sometimes more. I usually have several different genres going at the same time.

I love reading one book at a time. This gives me time to concentrate on the specific book and finish before going to the next one.

I generally have 3 or 4 going at the same time but have had as many as 6 or 7 sometimes. Anyone else have multiple reads happening :?: :?: :?:
Sometimes, 2. I do not know why I do that.
