It's a toss up between Non Fiction Humor writing and YA paranormal or dystopian. I read the first for inspiration for my own writing and for when I need a laugh, and I read the second for when I need a vacation from the limited world we live in now. I love reading about the impossible.

I'm still stuck in my YA fiction phase, but I have found that I CAN read just about anything and enjoy it. I have read lots of varieties for this book club review. I prefer to not read certain things, but I'm really good at analyzing stuff, so anything is fine for me.
Cute YA stories are my favorite, and I'm still really into paranormal stuff! So many books I want to read!

Classics are my thing. Most of the books I own are classics. I love them :)

Mysteries and detective stories are my favorite although I read other books. I just finished Zone of Interest by Martin Amis. I didn't care for the writing. I like books set in foreign cultures and written by people from those cultures. Sometimes I enjoy westerns. I've never read a romance novel and probably never will and it's rare that I read science fiction.

Me too. If i'm in the right mood, I can read just about any fiction or non-fiction book. I suppose my preference would be fantasy fiction because that's what i've been reading the most of recently.

I like British literature as well, including the Lord of the Rings, Narnia, and even the more modern Harry Potter series. I also enjoy dystopias and romance, as well as historic fiction. I especially like dystopias and romance mixed into one book.

Fantasy/Sci-fi, I guess. But it depends. Sometimes I like to read romance, sometimes I like to read horror, everything depends on how I'm feeling at the moment and if I want to read something realistic or imagine a whole new world.

At the moment, I am all over the place with what I am reading. Hard to nail down just one.

I read lots of non fiction that doesn't need a romantic element but if I want to get lost in a book it must include a little romance.
I read a LOT of romance. I like mystery/ spy thrillers/ fantasy/ sci fi... but I love historical Romance. I know I should probably vary the diet a little more but a good romance just gives me a lift. I don't want to read about pain and suffering... for that I just turn on the news. What can I say... I'm an addict!
