Re: Your most preferred reading genre

I don't think I can honestly say I have a most preferred genre because I try to read a wide variety of books but I am very centered in the YA area right now. Lately I've been reading a lot of fantasy and dystopian novels. I absolutely love most anything in the realm of fiction. I can't stand trying to read nonfiction though, it's just too boring.

I prefer a pinch of historical fiction, a dash of realistic fiction, a healthy helping of fantasy, and a drop or two of science fiction with some forbidden romance thrown in for good measure.

It's probably fantasy. It's that genre that really helps me escape the real world. But I also love historical fiction and romance.

Suspense and thrillers in the historical fiction categories or even crime fiction.

My favorite readying genre depends on the mood I am in. Sometimes I want a good sci/fi novel with magic and sword fighting. Sometimes I want a good mystery novel. Sometimes I want to read something with a funky title. It depends on how I am feeling that day.

I'll read almost any fictional story.
But I do love a good fantasy, Though when it comes to that I have very specific requirements. It can have a romance, but that should not be the focus of the story. It can be a minor subplot.

Other than that, I like reading mystery/thrillers too. I went through a phase where I read a lot of John Grisham and Agatha Christie.

I recently have up science fiction altogether. I'm beating my drill to non fiction now. I'm getting away from superpowers, mystical stuff, magic, etc.

I prefer fiction. Good classical fiction. I believe there are lots of knowledge in coded languages. It’s a great genre.

CTMH and Sci-fi are my favorites, and a little bit of self-help books.

I read almost anything except horror and paranormal, don’t like them but I guess I am partial to well written children’s or young adults books.

I love sci-fi/ fantasy novels. They are the best. However, there are other genres that interest me such as romance, mystery and sometimes non fiction self help books.
