I might read less, but I always try to carve out a little bit of time in the morning and right before bed for reading, only if it's 15-20 minutes. I would probably benefit from studying during that time, but oh well! My sanity is more important ;)

I'm not a current student any longer, but I just graduated a few months ago from pharmacy school. Even with how difficult our exams were I still read. I couldn't read as much as I wanted to, but I always dedicated at least 30 min - 1 hour before I went to sleep at night (when I didn't pull an all nighter at least). It was my way of escaping the stress, even if just for a little while.

As tragic as it seems, I usually don't even have time to touch books for leisure during college, let alone read one during exams. I find it has to do with my consistent procrastination and overall laziness. It's awful I know, but I have a stack of books I have half-read over the summer that will have to be finished over break. I really wish I could manage my time better so I could read.

I do, I always have. Your brain needs a break from all the studying, and something less stressful does wonders for anxiety. And if your brain can't handle reading any more words, you just pop in an audio book!

I barely read for the entirety of my college career. Free time was for homework, rehearsal, and practicing :-P . I'm making up for it now!

Yes. I do read around exam times. Of course, not as much though. I only read for fun if I am taking a break from the textbooks. I don't play video games but If I did that would be a nice way to unwind and take breaks as well. Whatever works for you during exam week is always the way to go.

I'm an art major so during exams I get a boatload of art books and slowly sift through them. But whenever I take a break I'll grab my favorite crime novel and decompress. After half an hour I'm more relaxed and ready to jump right back into my studying.

I still read during exam time! I'm a freshman in college, and I find that reading is an easy way to relax and break from studying that still keeps me in study mode. It keeps my brain working :)

Only academic reading. Once I got to college I actually didn't do any leisure reading during the school year at all. I just spend so much time reading for class that I didn't really want to read more in my free time when I had so many other things that I wanted to do.

Yes. Time management is key. Good time management means... not having to cram as much during finals... which means still having some free time, and not wanting to bang your head against a wall. lol

Reading really calms me down, and when it isn't a textbook, I will still read. I usually listen to a LOT of music, especially during ecam time as well, but I will read as a break, I do it as a kind of reward for studying. If I study 5 chapters in history, or whatever, I will read 5 chapters in my current book. Lucky for me, next year, in college, I will be majoring in English, so my reviewing will consist of re-reading novels! YAY!
