Historical fiction. I love reading historical fiction books because I am curious about how things were done in the past.

As silly as this sounds, I love adolescent literature. I never thought I would, until I took a class in college and fell in love. For one, they are super easy to read! They are thought-provoking also. I think I relate to them now because my daughters are getting to this age. I can see into their world and struggles through those characters.

I could never choose one genre! I love thriller/horror/dystopian/mystery, because I love psychology. Those genres generally focus of what makes people tick, so I find them fascinating.

I love several genres of books. But one of the most loved genres is that of romance. The romance could be fiction or non-fiction, as I wouldn't care less. Romance novels pump.my adrenaline and I love them.

One major genre of book I love is fiction in romance or adventures. Any of them would serve but I mostly love romance novels so much that I can't buy 3 books without getting a romance novel twice.

Right now I’m obsessed with contemporary fiction, science fiction, and horror. In my mind, horror is particularly good if it has ghosts, demons, or some other paranormal aspect.

My favorite genres of books are self-help, sci-fi/fantasy, and contemporary and romantic suspense.

Self-help books - I like them because I am always trying to find new ways to grow on a personal level. Also, to learn about general topics that I did not focus on in school.

Sci-fi/fantasy - I like it because I transcend into the make-believe world of the author. There are no limitations to the author's and, by extension, my imagination.

Contemporary romance - I like it because I love Love. Contemporary romance is modern and relatable. While romantic suspense consists of action, a bit of mystery or crime, and romance.

Mythology, philosophy, ancient culture/history, fairy tales, science fiction, horror/supernatural... anything that takes me to another time or dimension of reality.

I'm torn between historical fiction and fantasy. While I enjoy learning while reading historical fiction, there is something very appealing about books with dtagons and magical worlds and elves😉
