There are a few that really stand out. The Turn by Matthew Tysz had a lot of insight into a world devoid of true heroes, ones with honor but you had to dig for it. Adrift was a fast, exciting, well written novel. The Cult Next Door was horrific in it's baldness about being intelligent but completely under the spell of a psycho, narcissistic personality, completely dependent upon and every decision depending upon what that person's reaction may be. This book really made you think about addiction on anything and sounding reasonable but believing in some skewered doctrine. My heart broke for her and when she finally met someone to help her extract herself I was exceedingly happy.

How to Define Yourself by Chuck Clifton. This book was excellent. As far as fiction goes No Dark Clouds by R W Nelson.

I just recently joined so haven't read that many. My preferred book is The reel sisters by Michelle Cummings.

I loved the first book of the Evolutionite Chronicles. I would have given it 4 stars if not for a number of typos in it.

I really enjoyed the second book I read: Pivotal Moments by Susanne Birgersdotter. It was entertaining yet educational. Best book I've read so far

I really enjoyed The Dark Web Murders by Brian O'Hare as it reminded me of the Midsomer Murders series.

By far my favourite at OBC so far has been How to be Successful by M. Curtis McCoy. It was an amazing book, and not one I'd probably have discovered on my own, so I was thrilled how that worked out.
