I have read one book that was in partial Italian since it was concerning the Renaissance.. I can’t quite remember the name, but I have a feeling it’s simply called Renaissance.

I read a lot in my first language which is Serbian, but also I read English because translation in my language sometimes can be terrible which can be very frustrating.

I do read in Italian, but it's so much easier to find books I enjoy that are in English.

Spanish is my first language, but I only read books in Spanish if that is the language they were written in. I don't like translations. Because of that, I read more books in English than in Spanish.

Tamil is my first language. I have not tried reading books in my first language because I do not think I could get the flow. Till now I read only English books.

I read books in my first language during my school days. After that, I only read English books. But if I get some interesting books on my first language I would definitely try it.

My first language is Romanian, but this year I've only read in English. The books I'm interested in are usually not translated in my native language so I kind of stopped looking for them all together. I feel like I'm forgetting Romanian :))

Yes - if they were written in that language (Afrikaans) in the first place. I generally would not read a translation to my first language though. For example the names given to the Harry Potter characters in my first language makes me wince! It doesn't make sense for me to read translations from English since I could just read the original version itself...

My first language is swahili but I can read in English and more good in French. I'm doing my best to practice Spanish also.
