I was actually named after a literary character. I'm named after Meg from Little Women. However, my mom didn't like Margaret as my first name, so she named me Megan instead.

I don't know of any characters called Ryan, but if anybody else does then please let me know! :)

That is so strange
I can't think of any either
Lots of Robbies...
Weird :?

I only know of one character with my name
And it's not even my name
We share the same diminutive form but not the same proper name.
One letter is even off though it would be pronounced the same.

The only book I have ever found with an Abbie in it is a children's book called "Keep the Lights Burning Abbie." You see Abby sometimes, but not Abbie.

No I have not yet read a book with the name Paradise. I have a very unique name so it will probably be very hard for me to find a character with my name, but I look forward to hopefully finding one some day.

I have a pretty unique name, so I don't know of a lot out there with the name Kira. I've read a graphic novel named Deathnote and a kids' fairy book called Kyra the Moviestar Fairy

My name is Ashley. Pretty common and easy to find and so I know that I have come across many books with characters that share my name ("Gone with the Wind") but the book that comes to mind with a female Ashley is "Picture me Dead' by Heather Graham as not only did the girl have my name, her love interest in the novel shared the name Jake with my best friend.

My name is common and I'm almost certain I've read something with my name (Amanda) but I can't think of any right now... so maybe I haven't? If someone knows one please let me know because I'd love to read one.

Meggie from the Thorn Birds. I'm Meg, but I love the nickname Meggie!
Meg from Little Women, as someone else (another Meg!) noted.
A Summer to Die by Lois Lowry, in which the character Meg develops the nickname Nutmeg--how cute!
Ten by Gretchen McNeil--an homage to Agatha Christie's Ten Little Indians--the narrator is Meg!

My middle name is Elizabeth, as is Laura Ingalls Wilder's, or it was pre-marriage (Laura Elizabeth Ingalls). That always makes me happy.

I've read a couple with my name. I love it when they are an interesting character but once the character was awful and I hated it. I do find it hard to read romances novels that the main character's name is the same as one of my brothers. Makes me feel really weird considering I like to put myself as the main character :?

It is always really strange when I read a book with a character who has my name. When I was in high school, I read Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side. It was super strange to read "Jessica" over and over again in the text.

I have read a book with a Rachel but not a Rachael. For those of you who have read books with characters who have the same name...does it feel strange?

I just read a book about a girl named Rachael! Same spelling!!

I pretty much NEVER see my name in books, and it's a super common name, too! What's up with that?!?!
