I tend to carry it along with me for a few more weeks in my bag. It started off as absentmindedness and a bit of laziness but now I lend them out or they remind me to get another book so it's sort of handy. I do keep all my books though, even the crappy ones.

Put them on display! If they're ebooks then keep as many as possible until you have no space.

I keep most books and would probably never part with hardback editions. When my bookshelves get totally overloaded with paperbacks I will take a boxload to a charity store.

I kept what I could back when I was getting paper books, but I frequently ran into logistical problems. I consider the easily archived ebooks the logical next step of the evolution of books in general. Now if I have to choose between ordering a physical copy or not getting a book at all, it takes extra special circumstances for me to consider buying it anyway.

I keep it in my bookshelf. I could never throw my books away because I re-read them. That and I did spend money on it.

I've only reread a book by accident. I don't like to watch movies more than once either. Well, that's not completely true, I think I watched Blazing Saddles about four times with my kids. I can't believe how many people purchase a DVD and keep it on the shelf to watch again and again.

Keep it in the bookshelf and then write a review for it :)

I keep all of mine. I tend to be a bit attached to books that I read and love. I also let my little sister come over and she checks books out of my library, as she puts it!

First off I put it down and cry because it's over. If I bought the book, which is far more likely, I'd put it on my shelf. I've only traded books once, and I didn't like it because later on I wanted to read that book. Most of the time I buy my books on my nook, so I keep them. I like being able to reference my favorite parts of books and recommend and lend books and I do a fair bit of re-reading my favorites. I just get too attached most times. But that's a good thing. :)

I never keep books. I usually will give them to people or donate them. I usually will not re-read a book unless it has been a couple years since I last read it. I don't have any books at the moment, except school books. Someday I would like to have my own reading space with bookshelves filled with books, but right now that is not feasible. I generally will just rent books at the library or borrow them from friends, since I don't end up keeping them anyways.

Put it on my shelf or leave it in an unorganized fashion in my Kindle bookshelf :P

I used to keep every book I read but that got out of hand. Now I set it aside until I have marinated in the story and then decide if I will read it again. If I will read it again I will keep it ( pretty rare). If I decide I won't read it again I either give the book to a friend (if they have asked for it) or trade it in for credit at a book store.

I always just add books to my shelf! Only after a few years of not reading them can I admit that it's okay to donate them. I reread books I've liked in the past, or if a new book in the series has come out.
