Another favorite is Russell Baker's, "Growing Up." As a young boy selling newspapers, Russell Baker grew up to be a newspaperman. And it goes with a swell love story on the side.

I have so many favorite books in so many different genres, but I will say that Where the Red Feen Grows by Wilson Rawls has always been my favorite book since I was a kid because it’s a classic story about a young boy and all the adventures he has with his dogs. It intertwines lots of classic themes like love, hard work, patience and loyalty. That book still brings me laughter, joy and tears.
